A Royal Walk. Queen Poppy and King Branch out on a walk with their young Princess Lilly. So had the urge to draw Branch and Poppy out walking with Lilly holding their hands (I also just wanted to draw my precious princess again) and I finally got it done! No shading because I didn’t want to XD But hey, it’s got a background! And look at how happy Lilly is~ <3

SURPRISE!! Little gift for the awesome @rmg91!! Princess Lilly having a sleepy sleep with her parents. They love her more than life. Branch would be asleep, but he’s too busy admiring how perfect she is. Something I imagine he does very often.

You listen to me and you listen good. 

This RP has cleansed my soul in ways I never thought possible. I am happy, I am smiling, I am looking forward to every single reply and scene we craft together. I am laughing and squealing and flailing at the fluff and clutching my pillow and crying when those heart-wrenching feels start pouring in. And I am HONORED to be able to share this beautiful project and journey with a writer and friend as talented and sweet as you are. 

You hear me? Honored. 

These soft babies are my everything now, Thistle gonna make the most adorable ring bearer, I swear. And Sage will be best flower girl the village has ever seen.

 I am on the floor, rolling around in all my emotions, that is all.  

Daffodil, Oak, Thistle and Sage

Hey! Look who did some art! (I am still very distracted by mine and Autumn’s RP but I finally finished these lol) Presenting some RP OCs @hair-in-the-air​ and I created for said RP! Daffodil; a sweet bookworm whom Branch becomes friends with and stutters whenever she’s nervous or faced with talking to her crush Oak. Oak; A nurse in training and also the couch of some of the trolling sports teams. He’s a wonderfully kind and outgoing troll who cares deeply for Daffodil and does eventually become her boyfriend. Thistle; A trolling whom Branch impressed during a camping trip and now adores him. And Sage; Thistle’s friend and a sweet little trolling who looks up to Poppy.

And there you have it! Now I can start on that other project I’ve been waiting to do! Two words: Lilly Outfits!

Never knew how much I needed this until now.

Poppy watched him in contented silence, her head rested lazily on her arm as she laid atop the piano, following his fingers gently running up and down the keys. The soft notes and melodic chords drifted around the room and throughout the bunker, and Poppy could easily have let herself drift off in this state – but she couldn’t take her eyes off him. He was mesmerizing.

Branch had a small peaceful smile as he played, humming along with the music, letting a few lyrics slip out occasionally. He was so calm and lost in the music – almost like he could have been playing alone. But his gaze kept drifting up to her, his eyes filled with quiet adoration as she returned every glance with a soft smile. Poppy reached out and placed a hand over his as he continued playing, sending the slightest wave of shivers up his arm with the contact. He still wasn’t used to it. He never wanted to get used to it.

"I had no idea you could play,” she said dreamily, running her thumb gently over his knuckles, loving the touch of his skin, her fingers trailing down between the gaps in his, almost distracting his playing. Branch smiled to himself. “You never asked,” he replied with a smirk, persevering to run over the keys. “Besides. When you lock yourself away in isolation for over ten years, a guy needs a hobby. Just one of the many useless talents I’ve acquired over the years…”

Branch suddenly felt her fingers wrap around his and the playing came to a unmelodic halt. Their eyes locked. She shifted herself up on her elbow and leaned out and across the piano, slightly losing her balance and bringing one hand down hard across the keys in a garbled twang of notes. He chuckled and reached out and grabbed her, bringing her closer and making sure she didn’t topple completely off the piano. With him holding her safely and firmly, she pulled him in for a long, deep, adoring kiss, as more mashed notes bounced off the walls.

I had a fleeting thought that Branch could be an accomplished self taught pianist... and he has a beautiful hand carved piano squirreled away in the bunker somewhere. 😁

Idk I just like imagining how Hickory might blend his country and yodeling aesthetics since he seemed to really like country and i mean,,,,,there actually is a lot of yodeling and cattle calls in country music jskidfnknedf. I also just think braids are neat oops.

Before Poppy and Branch officially start dating, our paranoid dork starts to think she’s just being nice to him. The snack pack often tries to reassure him on her feelings.
