hi! is this rp set in the same universe as selah (aka the bobbies still being named after bobby)? so the former leaders would be graduates, but still referenced?

hi hi, this is a great question! since this rp is set in college rather than high school, and to give prospective members the chance to join without having watched the film, i thought it’d be best to pretend as if the events in the movie aren’t exactly canon / characters don’t have to know about it. it’s still safe to say that the founding leader of the bobbies was bobby for sake of meaning behind the name, but we won’t be referencing her or any of the other characters from the film in plot drops, etc. we’re mainly inspired by the world and using the factions and their influence on campus life for structure – hopefully that makes sense, but let me know if you’d like me to elaborate!

but just when they thought things couldn’t get any more complicated, they do.

hello! Is it best if we've seen the show to apply, or we are good either way?

hi there! you definitely don’t have to have watched the film prior to applying, though i would highly recommend it if you have prime ( it’s a relatively quick watch! ) the world in this rp is only lightly based off the boarding school and factions from the film, but i’ve switched up a couple things ( ex: haldwell here is a college rather than a high school ) and added a mystery concept to it for some extra flare. all you really need to know are the factions, which i briefly outlined over here!
