there’s nothing that can get me over the fact that nico is pretty much invincible. like. what everyone is worried about is dying and uh. nico dying just means seeing his dad around the palace a little more.

Imagine the heartache of the demigods at Camp Half Blood whose friends left to join Kronos. Did the departed whisper goodbye? Try and convince their friends to join them? Or did those left behind wake up one morning to find the empty bed of another sibling? To see another empty spot on the bench at breakfast? No warning. No note. No need to wonder, because everyone knows where they went. Did the Hermes kids wake up one morning and realize that their cabin, the home of unclaimed demigods, felt spacious for the first time in years?

At the battle of Manhattan, how did it feel to look across enemy lines and see your sibling? A best friend? A crush? A familiar face from across the campfire?

Did Kronos’ army help you feel at home on your first day at camp? Did they carry you to the infirmary after a nasty game of capture the flag? Were they your first kiss? Did they place a steadying hand on your back as you climbed up the rock wall, making sure you were safe? 

As demigods on both sides of the war drew their swords, was it like looking in a mirror? How must it have felt, to be prepared to fight and kill someone just like you?

Will, about to knock on the door of Cabin 13 at 5 am to coerce Nico into helping him set up the infirmary for the day:

Nico, opening the door before Will gets the chance, coffee in hand: This is the 4th time this week you’ve come to wake me up. You’ve become predictable.

Will: Aw, you woke up early for me!

Nico: I’ve become a morning person against my will.

Will: No, you became a morning person for Will.

Nico: It’s too early for puns.

Will, a bisexual: It’s never too early for puns.

I don’t know why but I have an impression that both Nico and Will are “scared” of their (future) father-in-laws.

Will is scared of Hades because, well, who isn’t, anw.

Nico is “scared” of Apollo, too, but the funny thing is that it’s because Apollo loves him too much and doesn’t hesitate to show both boys his fatherly love. It’s too much. It’s obnoxious. It’s Apollo. And Nico is… well, Nico. So yeah, he freaks out every time.

The guy kissed Nico’s head when he rescued him yall LOL. I want to believe Apollo showers Nico with obnoxious father-in-law’s love whenever he has a chance, just to see him make a face and run. All the while Will’s just there, being glad that the two get along.

Nico: So what do you do?

Will: I work in genetic research, and I'm currently trying to eliminate all Cancers.

Nico: Wow, impressive.

Will: Then I'll move on to Leos.

*Percy and Leo shaking nervously in the corner*

percy is so fucking lucky that will can't read minds or see in the past because if he found out percy thought about throwing wonderbread at nico for being too out of it and groaning literal minutes after waking up from a near death trance, oh boy

that scene where percy defeats an entire army of monsters with his rage just because annabeth was stabbed in the last olympian is such an underrated scene like excuse me rick but we need more one man army percy jackson scenes

Seriously whose idea was it or camp half-blood’s colour to be orange. The reason orange is used in marketing or uniforms is for them to stand out and catch your eye, which in a quest is not ideal especially if you're trying to hide from both monsters and mortals who may question why these beat-up-looking kids are wearing matching bright camp shirts without an adult present. Does no one here know colour theory.

highkey will sometimes forgets that his boyfriend is not just a depressed loser who likes to cuddle and talk about games or whatever but actually insanely powerful and then they're walking around in new rome and the ghosts are being loud and overestimating and nico just goes hush and they all immediately cannot talk anymore and will is like damn bro how tf did you do that???

anyway yes because i keep forgetting will also forgets how cool his boyfriend is i don't make the rules
