“Hey.” Okay, he could do so much better than that. God bless, he sounded like he was trying to be cool. Since when was he ever cool? Oh wait, he wasn’t. Not until he’d graduated college and started the band, and even then he hadn’t exactly reached cool status yet.
Then again, he was normally a favorite among his patients. Probably because he broke the mold of the average tweed suited psychiatrists that wandered around with their pens and paper, tapping designer shoes on the floor as they listened, and asked the traditional, and how does that make you feel type questions.
He wasn’t exactly normal by any means. But that was one which set him apart from everyone else. “How’re you doing?”
