i  shouldn’t  be  here  .  i  have  two  assignments  due  tomorrow  ,  and  i’m  not  even  here  for  a  reason  .  i  just  couldn’t  sit  in  my  dorm  room  for  even  a  second  longer  .  i  shouldn’t  be  spending  so  much  money  for  so  little  room  anyway  .  yet  here  i  am  ,  at  a  bar  i  couldn’t  name  if  you  asked  me  to  ,  surrounded  by  groups  of  people  who  are  laughing  and  chatting  as  if  it’s  the  easiest  thing  in  the  world  .  maybe  if  i  followed  delilah’s  advice  of  joining  clubs  and  societies  at  the  start  of  the  year  ,  i  could  be  there  sitting  with  them  .  

i  was  about  the  leave  when  the  music  started  up  again  ,  i  had  no  other  place  to  be  ,  so  i  let  myself  sit  at  a  lone  table  ,  all  but  one  chair  was  dragged  elsewhere  so  i  didn’t  have  to  worry  about  someone  talking  to  me  while  i  try  to  listen  .  well  ,  as  i  try  to  both  listen  and  watch  .  i  could  lie  to  myself  and  say  that  i  was  paying  equal  attention  to  each  one  of  the  performers  ,  but  i  know  my  eyes  stayed  on  the  drummer  for  maybe  a  bit  too  long  .  

either  way  ,  they  packed  up  and  i  expected  not  the  see  the  drummer  of  bathtub  cigarettes  again  ,  except  maybe  through  the  screen  when  i  inevitably  search  them  up  later  on  tonight  .  that  didn’t  seem  to  be  the  case  though  ,  not  when  he  came  up  next  to  me  .  i  only  jumped  a  slight  bit  at  his  voice  ,  not  expecting  any  conversation  .  i  was  going  to  decline  the  offer  ,  but  after  a  moment  i  thought  –  why  not  ?  i  ordered  a  vodka  -  redbull  ,  simple  but  it’s  nice  to  sip  on  .
