update (again): hi, i'm not sure what's happening here but um i can no longer access the messages tab for this blog. i can't send them out, and i can't read the ones i've received. no idea why that's happening, since it seemed perfectly fine not long ago! unless i find a way to fix that, i think the only solution will be to remake this blog :( there will be some delay in doing so, since i have some other priorities to focus on right now, but hopefully it won't be long.

hello hallorangifs nation. it's been awhile since i logged in, so i'm catching up on messages! thank you to everyone who's still been reblogging posts since i was last here, it's always appreciated. i've been preoccuppied with offline activities, but i hope to return to posting resources here shortly. i have a few psds that i'll likely put out soon, possibly a few templates, and gif sets.

for the time being, i'm not really doing gif packs unless the mood strikes me, but i'm considering opening up commissions for graphics and icons, which i've already doing privately for friends! as of right now, i don't have a proper page set up with all the information, so it'll be a little while till that's up and running. either way, i'll be sure to post an update for whatever comes next.

TEMPLATE 04 : VORTEX by hallorangifs

this template incorporates two images blended on top of each other and added texture overlays. you'll need basic knowledge of layer masks and smart objects for this. i've included my own colouring psd as well, which you can swap out for any colouring if you prefer. i've added some mosaic effects to the text - to replicate the effect, be sure to convert your text to a smart object before dragging the smart filters.

TEMPLATE 02 : BOOK CLUB by hallorangifs

another fairly simplistic template to use; the only photoshop knowledge you'll really need is just how to edit and place text. you can use any fonts you prefer, add some embellishments to the spines, or colour this with a psd.

you're welcome to use this to make promo graphics, header images, or whatever else your little heart desires. add your favourite book titles and authors, have fun with it! this is great for characters who are authors – you can use this to showcase their bibliography too.

hello! i'm in a bit of a much tighter spot financially at this time (the details of which i don't think i need to share, but they are incredibly dickensian in a way that would be funny if it wasn't actually like... actually bad) so i'm likely going to release the next few graphic templates for a small fee. i did say previously that i want to keep templates mostly free when possible and still plan to do so when it's possible, so i just want to be transparent about why this has changed!

however, i would still like to keep whatever i can accessible when possible, so even if i list something with a price for now, i may change the listing to free at a later time. if you see anything in the shop that interests you but isn't within your budget at this time, please let me know – i may be able to offer discounts on certain items and can always put your name on a list to notify you when things are free. hopefully this won't be the case for too long and apologies for this change!

TEMPLATE 01 : TRAINSPOTTING by hallorangifs

a graphic template inspired by the official posters for the film trainspotting. this template is fairly simple, as it doesn't require much editing aside from replacing images and text. i used the font 'helvetica' and chose the colour orange based off the original poster, but feel free to alter to your liking.

there are four different versions available in this zip file:

version #1: for a single character image, 540x540 pixels.

version #2: for two character images, 540x450 pixels.

version #3: for three character images, 540x400 pixels.

version #4: for four character images, intended for blog headers, 640x360 pixels.

this template also includes some adjustment layers i've used for the images, as well as a few overlay textures and grain to add some depth to the overall design, but you are welcome to change the colouring or throw in your own textures. for your images, i recommend choosing something with a solid background or cutting out the image to keep things clean and cohesive.
