genuinely tho this is not the first time tumblr has had icon problems, but i was worried this one was not self-fixable as it seemed to be that it was specifically how your icon on the mobile dash would not change along with the rest of your blog (unlike last time where it was just all of mobile straight up lagging behind)
however! i just went and tested it out, and the way i fixed the previous problem fixes this one too! just send your icon file to your mobile device and change your icon there :) it'll feel weird cause literally nothing is changing in the file or appearance itself but your dashboard icon will become unfucked 👍
changing your tumblr icon is fun (joy and whimsy in cultivating your identity) but watch out! (tumblr's glitchy website programming)

the initial fact they’re talking through a hand puppet with the oobi eyes
the horrible, horrible desynch between their words and the movements of the hand
lack of any clear place the hand is looking
“dwells in the depths”. just the whole sentence itself and the weird inflection on it.
the fact that the dude clearly already discovered this thing and was so moved by it they went to record it
“wuoah”, and the split second of open-palmed hand that no longer resembles a puppet
the weird fade in on the music and the fact it sounds a little distorted at first
the very specific but undefinable emotion conveyed by the music
