hiro was neutral about snow. he lived in his hoodies and no matter the season, he did his own thing. whether it was working on his robots inside his room or stuffing cash inside thick coats given to him by aunt cass as he did another round of bot fights. recently, he had just wanted a change of scenery. and the most drastic seemed like the public park. however, he almost regretted when the almost-slip happened. as he looked into the other's face, hiro knew he was red. maybe pink, if he was trying to forget how embarassed he was at that moment. " uh .. yeah! totally. um.. " hiro took small steps to steady himself into a standing position. one where he knew he wouldn't be slipping anytime soon. " thank you! sorry, um.. " a glance at their hands still connected before hiro suddenly pulled his back, cheeks still tinted pink. " i'm not usually this clumsy, i promise! "

peri loved the winter — it was a given, obviously, she was a frost fairy after all. her favorite thing to do besides spend all of her time at the ice rink was spend time at the park, especially when it was covered in a fresh blanket of untampered snow. amongst the kids sledding and the residents of evermore going about their business, peri was strolling along the paved sidewalk, resisting the temptation to re-frost the entire thing. it just looked so much better when it had ice atop it. speaking of ice, as peri looked up, she noticed an individual struggling to maintain their balance. guess they had missed a spot. rushing over, the blonde reached out to grab the other's hands, holding tight so they wouldn't fall over. ❛ i gotcha !! ❜ peri assured, offering a smile as she looked up at them, a sympathetic look of concern ornamenting her features. ❛ — i suppose they did a bad job paving the sidewalk, huh ?? ❜

while it wasn't the most exciting of adventures, hiro knew he could count on fred for pretty much anything. as he rolled around the cart, hiro passed him a short list of things he needed to stock up on for his workshop. a list of basic tools and materials -- screws, nuts, bolts, some sheets of vinyl, and maybe some wood and sheet metal. hiro didn't really have much on his mind projects-wise; grief does that to you. all the past innovations and passed up ideas did nothing to console him - whether about his brother or about evermore.

" so .. nothing big! just some stuff i need for the meantime. i figured that the reason i'm not inspired is because i'm not, y'know, really immersed in the whole thing. " he'd reason, hoping fred doesn't really bring the more emotional aspect of why hiro wasn't doing his usual thing of cool stuff & innovation.

SECTION ONE - about

Hiro, for the most part, is a pretty chill guy. He enjoys kite building, gummy bears, and his Aunt Cass' famous hot wings. And of course, robots. The guy likes to think that robotics was just his main coping method after losing both of his parents at a young age, and then years later, losing his older brother Tadashi, too.

While he is mainly preoccupied with solving the truth behind Tadashi's death, Hiro is also a little bit interested in how exactly he can leave Evermore in order to bring justice to his brother's name, if it ever comes to that. Again, robotics plays a huge part in both of those - somehow.

SECTION TWO - headcanons

I feel very strongly that Hiro is now a Cat Dad to Mochi. Like, Mochi was just there ( in a cat backpack ) when he crossed over to Evermore and now they're both stuck. Mochi keeps him grounded, but also Mochi gets visibly annoyed and concerned when Hiro grumbles in front of his corkboard and red string, muttering about the 'truth'.

He does have a sweet tooth! However, he keeps this very close to his chest. Mostly because he's embarrassed for some reason. Hiro insists that it keeps him focused when working on his projects. Gummy bears are his favorite.

Personality-wise, Hiro likes to focus on his projects when they're actually conceptualized. Otherwise, he spends a huge amount of time trying to be inspired. How he goes about this varies on the day and his current mood. Sometimes he'll take a walk outside, sometimes he'll do tons of research, and sometimes he'll just watch people do their thing and hopefully a lightbulb goes off and he's inspired.

Hiro tends to get competitive, though he keeps it playful and not too serious. However, because of his past with bot fighting, Hiro consciously tries not to get back into anything relating to that. Brings back too many memories regarding Tadashi.

Growing up, Hiro haven't had much exposure to romance. Both Aunt Cass and Tadashi always seemed to favor work and responsibility over any semblance of a dating life that Hiro learned to do the same. He'd take hangouts over dates; keeping people at an arms length over full-on romancing anyone. He's curious, but cautious about opening up.
