Yippee, review time

The whole story and the fucking ending was just amazing. I’m actually so happy some spoilers btw coz I’m so fucking chuffed.

“You do realise why I put up with you?” Said The Doctor.

“Not really” - Turlough.

This story made me just cry loads, the past revealing stuff about Turlough was great. We got a great reason why Turlough is older than he looks (something abt years on his planet)

Also, the guy who read it was amazing! I want him to marry me, his voice for the over secretary was actually so good.

However, since it’s the same guy speaking the lines, I sort of struggled to understand which characters were talking, and sometimes I couldn’t hear what he was saying. But other than that, I definitely recommend, and Big Finish…please make more Turlough content

it's never too late to start brushing your teeth again. i basically never brushed my teeth for a whole 10 years. a decade. A DECADE. i still struggle to brush my teeth once a week, but it all started with brushing my teeth once every few months. so i mean it when i say brushing your teeth once a week, a month, a year, or even a decade, is better than nothing.

and still, nothing is not shameful. it is not immoral to struggle with self care. and it is also not pointless to keep trying. anything you can do, even if its wiping plaque off with a towel, is enough. it is good to take care of yourself however you can, even if it's just trying to muster the will to. reading this post is good, too.

i believe in you and i am proud of you, even in the smallest of steps. it's okay. you can give yourself grace.

the older i get the more frustrating i find it how little people recognize or acknowledge it when massive problems start to get solved... i get the concept of focusing on unsolved problems and injustices to keep up the pressure of public opinion, but we should also acknowledge it when great things are accomplished. we just started rolling out the first-ever malaria vaccine which will likely save millions of children's lives. about half a million people die of malaria every year and over half of those deaths are children 5 years old and under. ive seen literally no one i know talking about this huge triumph for humanity

I want this to be real and a fanfic

I want to see an old companion reunion on Doctor Who where, instead of it being a big, emotional moment, the Doctor just doesn't notice for twenty minutes.

Like, the Doctor and current companion arrive on a spaceship and get separated, and the current companion is brought to the captain and, surprise, it's Turlough. Or they end up in somewhere with UNIT, and the person in charge is Harry.

Something goes wrong and the Doctor rushes in with a plan to save the day and starts telling people what to do, and includes the former companion without seeming to realise that there's anything odd about that. "[New companion], go back to the TARDIS and set the anti-matter filter to grey. [Former companion], take my sonic screwdriver and start decoupling the whatzits. I'm going to go talk to the leader of the Blah invaders."

It's only when things have stopped exploding that the new companion has a chance to ask, "How do you two know each other?" and that's when the Doctor notices and reacts emotionally to the presence of the former companion.

Because eeegh it's a pet peeve of mine whenever I see idk, content and stuff that just uses "credits to pinterest" or "credits to the original creators" without linking back to the actual source, so here are some places you can find images to use that you can find who to credit easily.

Note: some of these resources have specific terms, and not all of them can be used for moodboards/headers/notion/websites/icons/etc. Pls read them on their respective websites first and credit when necessary!!

Unsplash has a lot of good photos - just type in the keyword and you can also filter by orientation and color! There are also a bunch of user collections you can look through if you have a specific theme in mind
