hi all - i have an update on ibrahim @wolf-aid 's father, yasser. in january, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. even after the traumatic surgery that was performed on him, the cancer has destroyed his bladder, and he needs another operation for a replacement. we are not sure how much this will cost, but we are trying to raise as much as we can to save his life!

please help ibrahim raise what he needs to have his father transported to the hospital ASAP! he is on the verge of death and needs help urgently!!!

There's a lot sickening about the human rights violations occurring against Adriana Smith right now, but one of the ones that's really searing me is that they're gonna use her death and experimentation as a medical lesson or method of "saving babies" that they'll try not to bring up in textbooks. It's been that same pattern for the entirety of gynecology in America; Black women are used as guinea pigs to test shit in order to become "good enough" to save everyone else. Not bad enough that were 3x more likely to die in childbirth when we walk into the birthing room, not bad enough that no one takes our pain seriously at any medical stage. No, NOW I gotta worry about my family having to pay the bills to keep my dead body warm for a Black baby that, if it's born, will face a world that will treat it just as inhumanely as the Black mother it came from. Bc they're not gonna give a shit about it once it's born. CRAZY.
