My name is Mohamed Saqr, and just a short time ago, my family and I were living a life full of hope and stability in Gaza. We had worked hard for everything we had – multiple homes, a farm, and several successful businesses. Life was good, and we were building a future for ourselves. My brother, 24, recently married, and we were both proud of the lives we had built. But all of that changed in a heartbeat when the war began on October 7th.
this is my brother, Motaz Saqr, who had to undergo surgery in his stomach due to the pollution we are exposed to daily.
This is my house, before and after, im newly married and this was the house we were supposed to live in but the war happened and it turned into rubble since the war.
Since that day, everything we knew has been taken away from us. We were forced to flee our homes, leaving behind everything we had worked for. We lost our homes, our farm, and our businesses. Now, my family and I are constantly on the move, trying to find safety and shelter wherever we can. The fear we live with every day is unimaginable. We move from one camp to another, never knowing when or where the next attack might come. My brother’s children cry every night, scared of the loud explosions that seem to be getting closer with each passing day.
This is my brother’a daughter, this is the condition we are living in during the war.
Every day is a struggle just to survive. Food, water, and medicine are scarce, and we never know if the next meal will come. My wife, my brother, his wife, and their children are doing everything we can to stay strong, but it’s getting harder by the day. We’ve lost so much, but the hardest part is the constant fear for our lives. We’ve already witnessed too much destruction, and we know the situation could get even worse.
We started this GoFundMe because we need help. We need funds not only to survive but also to try and escape Gaza before it’s too late. We are asking for your support – anything you can give will make a huge difference in our lives. Your generosity could help provide food, clean water, and medical supplies, and it might even help us find a way out of this nightmare. Please, if you can, help us. Every donation brings us one step closer to safety and a chance at rebuilding our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Palestine fundraisers with easily-achievable goals
By "easily-achievable", I mean in the 50-60K range and below. Once again, drawing from my pinned list of fundraisers, which have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr (check that post for the proof next to each family name). I'll update this post just like the main list and the "under 1000 donations" list. Many of these are extremely close to completing their funding. Let's help get them there!
As always, donate if you can, reblog if you can't!

The Aburass family Goal: 45K 1/4 funded
Note: The Aburass campaign is in SEK, so the goal is technically 450K, but converted to USD it's closer to 45. Ultimately I decided to include this one since USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR will be more powerful here, and a huge chunk of the site's user base will pay with one of those currencies. The more hands on deck, the better.
anyways while senshi is canonically a feminine elf mithrun is canonically a masculine one since like senshi with all his alternate race appearances making him look more cute and feminine mithruns other race appearances have him as an absolute hunk of a man like kabru is fucking teaching self care to a middle aged veteran who sometimes says racist shit like you think kabru ever sighed and was like 'lets get you to bed soldier you're talking nonsense about half foots again"
bonus: tell me how you learnt chess, if you DO know how to play it. i learnt from my older sister, who was in chess club in fifth grade and forced me to play against her.
Wrong: Ada Lovelace invented computer science and immediately tried to use it to cheat at gambling because she was Lord Byron's daughter.

I am 42 years old from the Gaza Strip. I will tell you my story after October 7 in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. I have a family consisting of 9 members, most of whom are young children My eldest child is 14 years old, her name is Batoul, followed by Sydal, who is 13 years old, then twin children Majd and Jodi, who are 11 years old, then Sidra, who is 8 years old, then twins Ahmed and Mahmoud, who are 5 years old.
We were living a life full of happiness in our home in Gaza City, but our lives turned into a nightmare during the war that changed our lives. We became without a home, living inside a tent on the street, and there were no necessities of life, including water, electricity, clothing, and food.
In light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times, and during the displacement operations we lost everything, and we lost my house, which was destroyed by the Israeli bombing that did not stop.
We have lost the beautiful things that my family and I used to live with, and the most difficult beautiful thing we have lost is safety in peace, due to the violent bombing that surrounded us in all the places to which we were displaced. The days were difficult and there was no work to get any money, especially since my family consists of a large number of children and they have great needs.
I need your help in raising money to leave the Gaza Strip I ask everyone to participate and donate
Hello, I am Abeer from Gaza. Unfortunately, I lost my father and brother, and we live in a poor tent. Winter and low-pressure systems are approaching. We need to buy a tent, but its price is expensive, and we do not have clothes. My brothers and I are orphans, and there is no one to help us, so I ask you to help and collect donations to buy winter supplies, please 💔🙏
I would like to spotlight a particular fundraiser.
Raghad (@rhq2744) was a human medicine student in her second year at Al-Azhar University before the genocide began. She attended lectures, collaborated with her colleagues and professors, and enjoyed her university life. It was going well for her.
Until it didn't. Bombs dropped as the air chilled and the leaves turned red and brown. One after another. The horizon bled orange. It was daytime at night.
Everything she knew was gone. Buried under the rubble. Brunt to the ground. She was no longer a student experiencing the best time of her youth.
While it is heartbreaking to know her education is halted, let's take in the fact that she is a powerful woman in STEM! Don't we love to see it? We most certainly do!
So let's help Raghad! Her fundraiser is extremely low on funds. As of writing this, £4,470 out of £55,000 has been raised. That is not even a third of her goal!
Please donate. Consider giving as little as £5. It may seem like a small amount, but it does make a great difference. Especially if everyone pitches in!
Do not forget to reblog and share her story! It will give her fundraiser the much needed exposure and momentum! It is the least you can do.
this video of saleh aljafarawi is very relevant. please watch until the end. then i want everyone reading this post to learn more about @ahmed8311 and do everything within their power to extend a help in whatever form they deem fruitful. Ahmed Abushammala created a gfm last April 8th, 2024. he's been tirelessly asking people to spare him their time and money for almost five months already, despite the hostility they face in this social media platform. (i can not reach out to him even though we are mutuals for so long because he is shadowbanned!!) 5 months of navigating this hellsite and they are still barely 12% of their target. 5 months of dreading what would happen to your loved ones amidst genocide and deaths! read his story linked below and ask yourself what would you do if you were faced with such situation. what would you feel being separated with the most important people in your life and the world remains passive.
this is a legitimate campaign vetted and verified by @/el-shab-hussein himself here. do not hesitate to donate and share! time is of essence and i really really really need you all to start campaigning for @ahmed8311. i worry for him and his family. everyone must do whatever they can to save his family. donate. share. make raffles or commissions or posts for this family. please. follow him @ahmed8311 for updates and to boost his posts. tumblr has been silencing palestinian voices like ahmed for way too long. and we should never tolerate such blatant censorship!
