"They gave you one of these cheap useless things too?! Ugh, the nerve of...!" Well. Amy doesn't know who did it, but she'll find out—eventually!

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get your real hammer back. We both will--together!!" Her own toy hammer is held up in... solidarity? And she might be projecting her own anger about this, but that doesn't matter right now! This is serious!

A sudden burst of wind past her is something very familiar to Amy at this point; she can instantly pinpoint the source.

Her suspicions are confirmed in but a moment. It's...

"Sonic, hi~!" She greets cheerfully. Amy wonders briefly if she should call him something else, considering her Sonic is here too, but puts that thought to the back of her mind. "It's freezing, but I think seeing this beautiful snow makes up for it."

She giggles at his enthusiasm in the middle of readjusting her scarf.

"Of course! I never thought you'd ask. This'll be so much fun!"

Sonic's doing his afternoon run around the island when he spots the pink hedgehog. Though, he accidentally overshoots and runs right past her. He turns right back around, skidding to a halt in front of her. "Sup Amy! Enjoyin' the weather?"

Sure, it was a cold out still. Middle of winter and all... But it was nice and sunny today, perfect conditions to play around in!

"Do youuuuu.... Wanna build a snowmaaan~?" The singing is a little off-key, but he's grinning goofily and rocking back on heels while he waits for a response.

"Excuse me? Is that any way to speak to a lady?" Amy doesn't know what a "Moogle" is, but she's clearly so not that! Haven't people seen a hedgehog before? "I have a name, you know!"

"—And it's not a toy! It's a very dangerous weapon... I think." It's held up as if to demonstrate her point, but Amy's expression quickly falls as her eyes lay on it; even she can't buy into her own words.

"Listen, I didn't want this stupid thing in the first place, okay?"

❍ "I didn't know Moogles came in pink." Cloud had glanced at the girl in the corner of his eye. He didn't really know what she was, but Moogles were the closest thing he could liken her appearance to. He wasn't trying to be rude. But it definitely sounded rude even if he hadn't meant it that way.

"...or that they wielded toy hammers." Should he be concerned about that, or?

"Awww... I was so excited, too!" Amy clasps her hands behind her back and scuffs the toe of her boot against the ground. She really wanted to be helpful...

Her arms drop and go back to her sides with a smile, "But that's okay. I should have expected that; it's you, after all."

But when Sonic speaks again, her eyes light up with hope as she leans forward. "See? I knew I was right! We're destined to always find each other!"

Realizing she might be encroaching on personal space (again), Amy leans back. "Sorry~ I got a little excited. Sooo, did you find anything interesting?"

It's a situation he's found himself in more times than he can count. He turns upon hearing her voice, although there's nothing quite as dramatic as the others greeting of him in return. Seeing her here is a bit of a surprise, but nothing to really shake him out of their routine. There's a light chuckle at the flourish and introduction.

"I've sorta been looking around myself, actually - I think I must've got a pretty solid chunk of it down by now. Sorry to spoil the guided tour already! If I get a new place to poke at, you know I can't stop myself. Besides, I had no idea you were here. Maybe you're onto something about that fate stuff if we both got dragged here."

for the event, i've decided to go with fragmemoria! amy's going to have important memories lost to her (including meeting and knowing certain people in her life....) so she largely goes back to knowing her life as one without adventure; she's just a normal girl!

"Prickly? Hm..." She puts a finger to her chin before shaking her head with a smile, "I think he's just like that with you. He actually offered to walk me back home, like a gentleman~ He's always looking out for me... even though he doesn't have to." It's not something she fully understands. Why is he like that with her and not anybody else? She's strong now; she doesn't need to be looked after anymore, does she?

"Well, I have to admit, it's a little boring," After all, this ordinary day-to-day is the life she used to live. How could it ever compare to what she knows and has lived now? "But it's much more exciting now that you're around~♡! Shopping will be a lot more fun when it's with you!"

That's.. he'd like to say a relief, but it brings up some worries. Mostly about grief seeds, and what they're supposed to do without them. He doesn't know of any other way to cleanse their soul gems, and he'd rather it not be someone he knows turning into the first witch around. He looks briefly concentrated thinking about it, but opts to let it go shortly after. He'll cross that bridge when they get to it.

There's a mild chuckle at the mention of Shadow, officially casting his worries to the side for now.

"That'd sure be nice, wouldn't it? But yeah, I've seen him! He's still his same, prickly self.. I'm working on it. He'll come around eventually! How've you been, though? Must have some nice free time on your hands, now."

Amy's happy that Sonic's willing to slow down for her, a recent but welcome development in her eyes. She quickly catches up, clasping her hands behind her back as she walks by his side.

"Well, you're in luck~!" Amy giggles, "To tell you the truth, I haven't sensed any the entire time I've been here. Maybe this place doesn't have them?" No witches means her strength and magic is kind of useless right now. At least she still has this (even though it's also useless when there's no labyrinths to find, but she pushes that to the back of her mind.) Hopefully she can ease Sonic's mind, at the very least.

"Aaanyways, I just really wanted to see you! Did you know Shadow's here too? He's the same as always."

He can recognize the sound of footsteps behind him quickly, and he already has a pretty good guess on who it might be - she'd always been good at tracking him down, and since her wish, she'd only gotten better. Unlike what he would do before, there's no attempt to give her a run for him; he actually seems to slow down, allowing her to catch up quicker. He's been more careful about that sort of thing, unsure how to balance their previous, playful back and forth and.. the delicacy of what they have now. He isn't quite sure he could live with himself if she misinterpreted it as pushing her away and took it badly, leading to.. well, he doesn't want to think about that.

"Looks like I can't keep you from tracking me down for long - what's up? I sure hope it's not about any witches. I haven't seen any of em yet, and I'm hoping that doesn't change."
