Imogen chose to stay alive because she met Laudna and Laudna chose to grow old and die because she fell in love with Imogen. It really doesn't get more poetic than that.

the idea of the mighty nein finding keyleth's mother and sending her home, decades after vox machina's main story ended

and now bells hells prompting the Matron's gift of life back to vax, the opportunity to once more walk the mortal plane, to visit his family and the ones he loves when he needs them and when they need him

and keyleth, whose story ended with all these unresolved mysteries, this impossible, unending grief...

maybe now, at the end of it all...

she finally gets to see her own happy ending.
