Tonight on Hermitage Ave., I embarked on a memory through baking. One of the special parts of going to my Nana's house on Christmas was her amazing 3-tiered cookie plate. She would make all the family's favorite cookies from buckeyes (peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate) to date wheels and caramels to iced sugar cookies (one of my favorite!)....well, I had a HANKering for one of her baked goods - Ginger Cookies. They aren't SNAPS, they are soft and that are ginger perfection (ok, #2 to Julianne Moore). Anyway, I took 4 pictures of my process. If you happen to be driving in Valley Village, follow the smell of ginger and I am will give you a cookie.
