i had a dream about you last night,

it was the first time in years,

and it was also the first one were you literally didn’t die at the end,

it didn’t symbolize my feelings for you like the others,

you didn’t slip from my finger tips,

and you didn’t kill me either,

no this dream wasn’t like the others,

in this dream you loved me,

you loved me openly and purely,

you apologized for the pain that you caused me,

and you admitted that you were stupid for what you did,

i don’t know why this is happening now,

maybe now that i finally have some peace my mind is trying to ruin it,

i don’t know,

but it hurts like hell,

it hurts that when i finally got over,

really got over you,

you came back to haunt me,

and i think the thing that hurt me the most was the fact that i was clinging to that dream,

trying desperately to make it reality,

all this time i have blamed you for what happened,

for breaking me,

but if i am being honest with myself,

it wasn’t just your fault,

it was mine for falling so damn deeply in love with you that i let my judgement get clouded,

in tears all over again,

The fact that not a single news channel is saying that it was a gay nightclub irritates me. The fact that everything is being linked to Isis irritates me. The fact that it’s 2016 and 50 people were shot and 53 were injured irritates me.

Not only do I not feel safe for being a part of the lgbt community, but now I will never feel safe going to a club again. Orlando is a little over an hour away from me, and after hearing about Christina and now this, I am appalled.
