some advice for the struggling student #3

Just a heads up, I went through high school being taught that using ‘I’ in essays was a bad thing. Now my essay grades in uni are lower than they would be simply because I didn’t use ‘I’ meaning the language in the essay was too formal for what was being written about. So learn from me, if it calls for it, you’re allowed to use ‘I’. But either way, just ask your teacher/tutor and all will be good.

I feel like this needs to be shared to everyone whether they’re in high school, college, or university. There are so many different techniques to writing essays, and this video just explains things so simply making it incredibly easy. It’s also only 9 minutes long. So, if you struggle with writing, watch this however many times you need, and it just may do the trick.

If you’ve ever bought a new computer/laptop that doesn’t come with any Microsoft or Adobe programs already installed, then you’ve probably had to spend a lot of money for subscriptions. So, before you do...

WAIT!

You could be wasting all that money if your school, college, or university provides it for free. In high school, all I had to do was ask the I.T guy. In university, I consulted the website. 

No more wasting money.

09052017 - Had a lecture today at 12 so I was able to have a sleep in. I had a group meeting afterwards (where the photo is taken) that was really successful too. 

But this morning when I opened the front door I was met with a package that had my name on it. I was very excited when I realised my passion planner (undated sun. compact - timeless black) was inside so once I sort it all out, I’ll post more about it! I’m still waiting for my mildliners though.

Hello~ 

I decided to officially introduce myself to the studyblr community as a new studyblr account. I started this studyblr to keep myself organised and hopefully more motivated. So, to start I’ll tell you a bit about myself:

My name is Hannah

I’m turning 19 this year

I’m Australian 

I’m in my first year of uni

I’m studying a Bachelor of Communication and Media, and I’m looking to possibly work writing articles and/or work in and amongst social media

I also have a love for stationery and will pause youtube to watch ads that include stationery (hello officeworks)

Kpop since 2010 

I love singing and dancing and art - ok arts in general (but hey classical musicians reacting to kpop)

So yeah, that’s me. I won’t be able to post crazy consistently like most people but I’ll do my best. I’m looking for more (Australian) studyblrs to follow as well so I’ll see ya in the next post~

05052017 - I realised I didn’t really introduce myself in yesterday’s post. I’m Hannah, a new studyblr testing the waters. I’m a first year, studying a Bachelor of Communication and Media. 

This photo is from my only tutorial today. We were supposed to gather in our groups to work on our assignments but only two of us showed up -.-

You can see in my pencil case though, that I currently have two mildliners with me. I have one more that stays at home but I just purchased a few more that should be coming soon
