In celebration of twelve (or more?) years of my friends showing up at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival: Top of the Park, here's a very partial retrospective of Sluggo and Philomena tearing up Ingalls Mall over the years – sometimes literally. I hope to see them tonight (June 24) and June 29 at the Top of the Park!

Sudden realisation that B Dylan Hollis's enthusiasm could make for some great chef Reth pose sketching inspo.
A thing to look at more fully after coffee.

We’re all excited about the new Samantha birthday dress! Did you know throughout the years American Girl has changed their illustrations for Samantha’s books?
I grew up with the first edition book that shows the twins having short and curly hair. Think little orphan Annie.
I assume they tried to make it less 80s perm by making the hair longer in the later editions.

Most of you are probably more familiar with hr later edition illustrations.

What book edition did you read? What illustrations do you like better?
