Umbreon Hasbro Prototype V-Trainer - 2005

This Prototype V-Trainer is one of the rarest items in my collection. It was set to be released along with the other V-Trainer figures until Hasbro discontinued the series and recalled all the new figures that they were working on including Umbreon. There exists an even rarer Umbreon V-Trainer that has the actual chip on the bottom (that mine lacks) so you can theoretically play it on the V-Trainer games. Someone from the Pokecommunity has confirmed that the one with the chip works with the V-Trainer systems. This Umbreon was also originally released with a Charmander V-Trainer figure and a Gary V-Trainer system which featured Magmar, Fearow, and Umbreon as Gary’s Pokemon.

These stamps appear to be early promotions of the Gold and Silver video games considering the names are replaced by question marks besides being listed as “pre-set” stamps. The text on the bottom explicitly states that you cannot use them to send mail at the post office.
