In the heart of Gaza, where war has left us with nothing, this video captures moments from the life of displaced families who have found shelter in an abandoned school. It follows a rainy day where heavy rains fell, and cold winds became part of their daily struggle for survival.

From the third floor of the unprepared school, we see children watching the rain and the winds that tear at the tents they live in. Below the school, people gather to fill their containers from the only available water truck, seeking a drink that may be their only hope for the day. The video reflects how this school has turned into a refuge, despite its cracked walls and damaged roof.

Inside a small room, where family members seek shelter from the cold and rain, another picture of hardship is revealed as they cover the windows with blankets and curtains. In this small space, their strength lies in their unity and togetherness. Despite the harshness of life, there is still hope in their eyes and a belief that tomorrow will be better.

Hello all, Safaa has given me permission to make a post to help promote her fundraiser. She is 26 years old and a new mother. Her son is 5 months old and is named Amir. Her mother suffers from chronic diabetes and her father has recently suffered a stroke.

As we move into the winter months, the displaced people of Gaza are finding it harder and harder to survive. As temperatures drop, Safaa struggles to keep herself and her son warm. Blankets and warm clothes are scarce. It is one thing to starve, another thing to starve and freeze, another thing to starve, freeze, and have to constantly flee from bombs dropped by Israel. Not even the water is safe to drink. Safaa is forced to cut pieces of cloth for her child instead of using diapers, which have skyrocketed in price due to the blocking of aid by Israel at the borders leading into Gaza. A few dollars can help save a life. A reblog, or sharing a fundraiser in your Discord, or over text with your friends and family, or elsewhere, can help save a life. These people have been struggling for over a year now, some of them have been struggling for much longer.

Help a struggling trans couple make rent

Hey everyone there is no plainer way to put it, we need to make $1100 to make rent. I've been battling being sick for a week which lost me a ton of time at work and on top of everything hours are starting to dwindle as it is. I worked overtime for a month straight to try and get ahead but it barely kept us afloat for October. I hate to beg with everything going on but we simply cannot make rent+bills+owed back taxes without help. My minimum goal is $1100 to pay just the rent but ideally I hope to make $2500 to cover rent, bills and pay into those taxes. Is it not completely insane and mind blowing that a few days ago just marked a solid year of this and we still get lukewarm headlines by mainstream media about how Israel is now ACCUSED of attacking Gaza hospitals (w no actual penalties for it)…. Think pieces by the New York Times that do their absolute best to tiptoe around the subject, if not outright fail to address it…….. and this is most insulting of all but I even saw more than one headline “honoring the memory” of the IOF soldiers who died in a recent attack…… and this all sounds made up but it’s not.
