For the past couple of days Qamar wouldn't eat. So today I went to the store and got him different bird food. When he hopped up there and started eating, I was relieved.

Aww how sweet my tumblrversary. This past 2 years I have used Tumblr more often. Through their live streaming I met great people and amazing friends. I will always keep my place here on tumblr and I wish everyone the best

We Are All Born Without Shoes.

We are all born without shoes. What does that mean? There was a time in our life when our youth made us more enquisitive about life. In our youth unbeknownst to ourselves we ware scientists. we asked questions about everything, we wanted to know how things worked, we used our imaginations and I know my imagination ran wild. there was what the world refers to as a silver lining. Somewhere in between our youth and young adulthood we are humbled told by our family or friends that certain things aren't real. The Tooth Fairy doesn't exist its mom and dad putting a shiny quarter under our pillow or Santa doesn't exist its our parents buying the gifts and presenting them under an assumed name of Santa Claus, That the appreciation for Cartoons and our wacky sense of humor has to go out the window because now we are adults, now is the time in our lives where we have to put our head up and shoulders back "be a man" down the lonely path is the path to a higher education, a path to a degree, a path to a promising job making six figures, we will get married to our significant other have kids raise a family, have a beautiful home with a dog name Carl Sagan and a white picket fence. but what happens if all our paths are not the same? did we achieve the American Dream? What if a person doesn't live in a house but an apartment? raising kids or no kids at all? take everything off the plate. what if all they have is their imagination, their spark of creativity. are they labeled a dreamer? is being called a dreamer so bad? to quote Frank Sinatra " you may be king, you may posses the whole world and it's gold but gold won't bring you happiness when your growin' old" trying to live our lives to the world expectations is a tough burden to bare, it is the equivalent of Atlas baring the world on his shoulders. Some of us spend our whole lives on the journey to seeking happiness and never find it. Maybe it leads some down a darker road a road where they are homeless or in a place of recovery, maybe they never smile, they never joke, they were deprived what all of us were so fortunate to have. A childhood. A childhood where people cared about us, loved us and encouraged to take on the world be what we want to be out of life. Now I bring to my final thought, my conclusion to end this ominous speech. We Are All Born Without Shoes is meant for us to be mindful. What do I mean by more mindful? before we presume to know about another. Know often behind what a person tells you in a conversation. It is not humanly possible to share 20, 30, 40 for some more years of life and experiences in one conversation. So be mindful of what think of others, be mindful of how we speak to others and be mindful of how we treat others. I also encourage you to do what you love! Be doctor, be a nurse, be a lawyer, a civil engineer, an electrician, a mechanic, be an actor, a comedian the list can go on but the most important thing is be you, be genuine to yourself. To rob yourself of what you love, is to steal and deprive the world of you.
