Every replay I *really* try to keep Durance with me and every time without fail I get sick of him at like, level 6. Durance kinda perfectly summarizes my issue with Chris Avellone, Durance makes some good points and can tell an interesting story sometimes but he's such and unpleasant pompous blowhard and occasionally Weird about women.
#holy shit finally someone who feels the same way about CA's charactes#funnily enough I kinda like Durance in a twisted way but mostly because you can tell he's actually supposed to be unlikeable#but if you say you don't like Ulysses or god forbid Kreia suddenly everyone looks at you like you grew a second head#(the way his quest is structured is still ass though and it's the kind of stuff endemic to Obsidian games that just annoys me)
