A homeland post.

This may not be true, but I find fascinating how the show keeps Brody alive in Carrie’s memory. She has never loved anyone as much as she loved him. We’ve never seen this look on her face ever since he died. She truly loved him. 

After he died, her next serious boyfriend is yet another ginger guy. I see it as she is unconciously looking for Brody. It is known that we do that. When we lose someone we love, we keep looking for them, uncosciouly, on other people. Homeland may have chosen to portray this on making Carrie pick ginger guys. This already happened another time on season 3 before Brody died, when she got one night stand with yet another ginger guy.

I finally watched Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears tonight…and I have SO. MANY. FEELINGS. that I stayed up until 2AM re-watching the movie and making gifs of *that* scene. To clarify, I, an adult with a professional job and responsibilities, stayed up half the night making gifs. BUT WHATEVER. Phryne and Jack are beautiful, and I have no regrets. Below the cut for those of you who don’t want to be spoiled. I respect you (but I don’t understand you).
