I want to lather Happy Chaos down with a generous helping of Bath and Body Works' "Warm Vanilla Sugar" shower gel.

He'd come home from nearly decimating an entire city block, briefly kiss me, and tell me he desperately needed a shower. And I'd smile, because he finally felt like taking one. I'd hear the creaking sounds of him entering and turning on the water. After a few minutes, I'd suggestively ask him if he wanted some company.

He would laugh and tell me to come in - the water's fine.

That's what I want. I want to enter the bath clothed just as he had. Steam would swirl up from the hot water as I picked up the body wash and rubbed it on his chest, spreading the lather down his skin. I want to feel the thick bubbles. I want to massage the soap into the expensive fabric of that Secret Service jacket he mysteriously attained one day. I want to rub every inch of his halo clean.

Our naïveté would cause us to misjudge the awkwardness of this bathroom excursion, as the shower head would leave one of us in hot water and the other uncomfortably cold. He'd ask if I was okay, and I'd reply, "No," hesitantly. I'd freeze. With a smirk, he'd lean in close, resting his palms on my shoulders. The look in his eyes would tell me everything.
