Do any demisexuals feel very strange after their attraction switch has flipped? I’m like “well I used to not feel attraction ever, but now I have. i’ve recently come to realize that i’m not a sex-repulsed asexual but instead, a sex-indifferent demisexual not emotionally prepared to have sex.

2022 was a fucking hard year. I went to school for three new teaching credentials, I had to cover for my colleagues almost daily during the omicron surge, and I helped my union fight a hard uphill battle of earning raises.

2022 was also a great year. I bought my first home, I went to Scotland and Ireland for the first time, I begun the process of getting back into shape after the pandemic, and I won the Teacher of the Year award despite it being only my 4th year in the profession.

I’m tired, but I’m grateful. Here’s to hopefully being less tired and even more grateful in 2023.
