Guess who's about to ramble about Chris again!

The fact that Ichaival takes the form of a bow in Chris' Amalgam Mode instead of a gun, consistently the form it takes for some of her strongest attacks, right as the lyrics of Take This! "All Loaded" talks about how she's no longer crying and can reach the hand holding her own to represent how she's no longer defined by her trauma thanks to the bond she shares with Hibiki and the others makes me go up the walls.

Especially with how all of this happens right after Hibiki saves her again and asks her to come with her so they fight side by side.

And the cherry on top: It's one of her strongest attacks and it's not used to hurt, but to save three people who are in a very similar position to where she was. Not only can she reach out to those she loves, she can also reach out to others too.

Did another one of my very favorites today: VOIVOD RUSH. I really wish we'd gotten a retrain of it with how many times the event got rerun.

That first clip is so funny and adorable, and the implications are great. This interpretation is entirely my headcanon, but I really think Sharon trusts Chris and later Miku because Hibiki talked them up to her beforehand. She has a pretty cute character design and her relationship with Hibiki was adorable. I wish we'd gotten something like a memoria of the 4 hanging out afterwards.

Going to sleep now. Busy week at work starting tomorrow.

1: I'M A "LOVABLE CHARACTER"!? WHO THE HELL IS TELLING YOU THAT NONSENSE!? … What? "EVERYONE is saying it"!? Hey now, is this some sort of joke!? 2: As their senpai, I gotta serve as the example for my cute little kouhais! Good grief, I have so many kouhais to look after. Such a pain~

TL Note:

This is actually one of my favorite clips in the entire game. So the term Chris uses there for "lovable character" is "愛されキャラ", which is the same term Hibiki uses to tell Maria she can entrust KiriShira to Chris without worries because she used to be mean but is now a "lovable character". In the XDU story this card is from, Hibiki takes on the task of taking care of a little girl called "Sharon" and that includes teaching her how to read, write and basic arithmetic. The implication here is that Hibiki taught Sharon that Chris is a "lovable character" in the middle of teaching her basic essentials. Even worse, Sharon tells Chris "EVERYONE" is saying it, meaning Hibiki has been spreading Chris' tales of cuteness across the multiverse (or at the very least to Sharon's parallel world). That is very funny to me.

Another funny thing with this is that Sharon does get entrusted to Chris at one point and, while still apprehensive, does ultimately trust Chris. At a later, bigger event, Sharon also comes back to help Miku and Chris awaken Hibiki from her electric Berserk mode thing.

TL Note:

The context behind this one is that Chris, Shirabe and Kanade play this cellphone game involving dragons. That's what Chris is talking about, not about actually fighting someone literally.
