I need to remind my dear husband that he doesn't need to have an opinion on everything.

Especially with people on the internet. Not only is it dangerous ( Clearly we have to be careful for "obvious" reasons ), but his stress levels are beginning to make me stress.

The holidays can be a very stressful time for people - so it’s hard for them to sit down and write about Christmas in RP when they are stressing over it in REAL LIFE. So, just a little reminder that some people still want Christmas threads AFTER Christmas.

It's been a busy week. Templar activity has been...building up, again. We can never truly rest, for the threat is always out there; but some days I think things will work out in the end.

Ha. A foolish thought, a dream.

I should take a shower. A simple distraction, but enough of one to give me a break.

The hour is late, but tonight the two of us simply cannot sleep. Arend has developed an annoyance for the way things have been going on in the UK to do with the Queen, and likes to criticize many issues brought about in the media.

I've heard by word of mouth that several conspiracy theorist groups out there assume that either us or the Templars have actually killed the Queen off, all with delightful explanations too. Clearly... that's not the case for us - we definitely have no reason to. As for the Templars? Well...I wouldn't think so on that front, but ya can't trust them anyway.

Arend won't admit it, but he likes to gossip and argue on the internet. I warn him if he's not careful, it could lead to repercussions. He whines, but accepts defeat.

Not usually one for coffee, I'm surprised when he accepts my offer of one. Of course he's not impressed when I do tell him it's decaffeinated.

That grumpy pout of his is ridiculously cute, but I know he's absolutely fine, and he actually relaxes.

Promises not to get involved again with tabloid discussions. I think I believe him, ha.

Our Hearts Are With You, Germany and The Netherlands.

|| The flooding is a terrible tragedy, and one I faced myself many years ago. Not to the level experienced in Germany etc, but my God it was traumatic and so many people were affected - we lost so much. I was also on my own for a long time, which was terrifying.

Because Harlan's husband is Dutch, I thought I would put a post out, showing my support - I did not want to make it as an RP post as such.

To all affected, you have my love and support. Please, stay strong. X ||

Oh dear. Grumpy husband is grumpy. The Netherlands lost their Euro football match.

Now, neither of us care much for the sport but...it's the Netherlands. His homeland. Naturally, he's going to support the team.

My poor Arend got a shock this morning when he saw me dressed.

No suit. Just loungewear. All my usual clothing was in the washing machine.

Needless to say he was concerned, and made it his mornings mission to see me appropriately dressed - the situation was rather amusing, and somewhat sweet.

I admit...I did look like hell when I woke up. Now he's fussing over me, like I worry over him when he's feeling low.

Note to Self: Will spoil the husband tonight.

|| So, ooc for a moment. I started rereading the Assassin Creed comics recently, and today I re-noticed Arends note to Harlan. He makes a habit of writing these notes before each mission, in case he dies. He burns them, if he survives.

This recent notes, he writes, is just incredibly thoughtful and moving. He ends it by saying, "I love you". He puts his heart and soul into it. He says he even /cries/ when doing this.

Arend Cunningham is just one, big adorable bear, with a huge heart to match. I can only imagine how fiercely they care for each other, and love one another.

Please, Ubisoft. Future story creators. Please give them the coverage they deserve. ||
