Why does it seem like the President gets away with everything? Because in America, if you��re rich, white, male, and connected, you don’t face consequences. You negotiate them. Because consequences in America are for the poor, not the powerful.

He’s not “above the law”, the law just keeps refusing to climb high enough to reach him.

But here’s the thing: impunity is only permanent if we let it be. But that ends when we end it.
