What does you...? I'm sure you mean 'what do you', but I'll totally let you off the hook, anonymous cutie.

My first impression is usually very quickly and frivolously formed but not entirely an accurate representation at ALL. Usually I look at someone's mannerisms, eye contact and how they hold themselves (their posture, body position, etc). Even something small like where someone's arms are can give you lots of information. To me, though, the most important part are the words. What their soul is telling me. Lots of time, that takes a little while to find out.

DATE: (last week's performance) WB 2nd June NOTES: Harmony likely gushed about how much she is LOVING Rent at the moment (in particular, she is trying to expand her different roles and genres of music). She likely mentioned what a fantastic duet partner she has in Blaine and how grateful she was for him joining her for this song! There is also a chance she mentioned how much the original Mimi (Renée Elise Goldsberry) portrayed the role BEAUTIFULLY and she is in awe.

In defence of my fellow musical-theatre stars, I think the majority of us are just...EXTREMELY excited and passionate about what we do. At times, that might mean our excitement can fizzle up and over the top a little. Like a shaken up can of a fizzy drink, for example. Voice acting is such an interesting course, though! Tell me about that!

Don't worry, there is zero risk of sand getting put in your hair. Have you heard of the saying 'get your head out of the sand' before? I'd totally recommend watching the Mean Girls movie, though. It's superb!

I think people sometimes forget that there are other courses here than just musical theatre. Personally im specialising in voice acting and i love music.

Most of them I felt like I could give a super good-try. Although Regina was totally my no1! How about you?

Harmony paused, eying Rachel momentarily as she listened. While the rumour-mill had been buzzing with electric gossip about Rachel's potential departure from their rival club, Harmony had never had the information confirmed. Not officially, anyway. "Well, first of all, Rachy -" She offered her friend a small, reassuring smile. "- You don't ever need to apologise for doing what's right for you. It's not your job to babysit other people's feelings or look after them."

After a few seconds of pondering, Harmony's eyes found their way back to Rachel's again. "There really aren't too many songs where the artist actually admits that they might be letting people down. I think admitting being stuck in that kind of situation is very open and honest of you. Way more honest than a lot of songwriters, clearly." She admitted with a playful eye roll. "Have you heard of The Veronicas before? There's a song called You Ruin Me, which might slightly match your situation. Particularly the chorus." Giving a little giggle, Harmony shrugged. "If I'm allowed to give my opinion, I think you're too good for the New Directions. Doing charity work is kind, of course, but your talent needs to recognised and celebrated. And I've always wanted to hear you sing a Veronicas song, so this is really just a great excuse."

"the kind of weird where i feel...like maybe i might be a terrible person?" rachel said, running a hand through her hair and looking at harmony with worry in her eyes. "the kind where...you feel like you know what the right thing to do is, for yourself, but you might let a lot of people down if you go down that road? there's got to be numerous songs for that, right?" she was being vague on purpose, and she knew she didn't need to be, and it honestly felt ridiculous. "remember when you asked me if i was thinking of leaving new directions?"

Spencer, you misunderstand my ability to feel EVERY.SINGLE.EMOTION within EVERY.SINGLE.BONE with full, high-speed intensity inside my body. It's highly beneficial as an actress to embrace the natural human reactions or feelings that we have, deeply in our souls - that way, we can FULLY channel that same energy on stage. Disappointment can absolutely be one of those emotions.

You should channel that riveting humorous energy and sarcasm into answering questions properly. My parents used to sing the beans song to me as a baby, purely to make sure I was 'full of beans' from an early age. It was as adorably spectacular and awe-inspiring as you might imagine. How about we use that one as my next TikTok dance with you? I'm sure we could make the sound go viral.

HARMONY: The crying was a total MOOD. Honestly, I wasn't even entirely honest with myself how MUCH I wanted the role until I saw my name on the cast list. Denial is cute, right? Right? We're going to totally pretend. I'm so glad we both had our own Elle Woods 'So Much Better' moments. HARMONY: OMG, maybe that should be our VA performance this week?! Together?! I'm not really sure what the reasoning behind it was? Unless the casting directors didn't really feel as though Rachel's vision matched theirs. I don't know, truly. 'Dead Girl Walking' IS always quite a risky song choice, I've heard. Or, they may have noticed something from her audition that we didn't. I guess we just have to trust the process. ANNIE: honestly, i was way to excited when the cast list came out, actually no i was freaking out because my friends also went for the same role as me so I had to hope I was good enough to impress the team for any kind of role! but once it was announced I was so excited I cried. ANNIE: Oh its going to be so amazing performing alongside each other! oh my gosh you deserve it just as much. ANNIE: I am feeling so good and ready to start rehearsals, however i kind of feel sad and confused like how did Rachel get Ms Norbury? Like I for sure thought she would get a bigger role than her. [ PRIVATE ] Agreed. Immediately, agreed. Doesn't every great musical need a song that causes you to sob hysterically? At the moment, mine is veering towards 'Words Fail' from Dear Evan Hansen except I managed to find an even more superior version by a girly who LITERALLY kills it. And kills me. Musicals that are able to display the nuances between 'right' and 'wrong' and 'what REALLY is a villain?' really intrigue me. What's your go-to musical ballad of death?

Also, you literally deserve to blush all the time. You're gorgeous, insanely talented and I'm fairly certain I've NEVER wanted to share the spotlight or attention - so it's a total big deal that I'm willing to share the workload with you like this. I'm trying to say that without sounded totally big-headed and no way of wording it is coming out right, so I do apologise. Consider this my new mission - remind Marley how wonderful she is!!

And yes, I was absolutely glued to what Barlow and Bear did. Watching them made it feel like the door’s a little more open than we thought, right? Like… maybe the rules aren’t so rigid. Maybe we can make space for the stories we need but haven’t been given yet. Maybe we can have Wicked but Glinda and Elphaba get each other in the end.

So, yes. I’m in. But if we do this, just promise me one thing: we’re allowed at least one song that makes people cry into their ice cream at 2 AM. Non-negotiable.

That Mean Girls cast list is the hot mess express. There are maybe two decisions I agree with. Not that I expected less in this economy but like... Half of you can't act mean without looking constipated, and the other half of you have the mean part down but can't sing your way out of a paper bag. It's going to be a trainwreck. I'll be sitting in the front row with popcorn.
