Harper gave playful eyes as she finished off the sip, placing the glass between the two of them, silently, a bit playfully indicating they were now officially sharing it. She turned in the barstool to face him more, making a point for her leg to turn inside his, knee moving up his thigh intentionally. “That might be the reason I don’t drink it often. It’s a very exclusive group who I let see that side of me.”

Vienna: Honestly, I think a part of it may be because I'm indecisive as well. Like, how do I know what name fits properly until they're born? Or how do I know I won't pick a name and tell everyone about it then end up hating it the very next day? It's something so simple but it's also a lot.

Harper: Well you don't need to lock it down beforehand. I've had friends who waited. It makes sense. But the thing is that it's your child and it's obviously a big decision, so in the end... none of that matters. If you change your mind, you change your mind. There's some confusion for a day or so with people, but as long as you're happy it is well worth it.

Vienna: Oh no, I think I get what you mean. I've got a few options in mind but I also don't really want to say them out loud to other people just yet because you know -- what if they hate the names and then judge me before I've even named my child? It's a big decision.

Harper: Oh yeah, I get that. We didn't tell anyone my daughter's name until she was born because we were worried about that. We were pretty open with my son's and it wasn't so bad, some people are definitely annoying about what they say, but we were good about ignoring it anyways.

Vienna: Really? You mean, you didn't have a few names that you were tossing between or had shortlisted? They're only going to have this name for the rest of their lives so it already feels like a huge deal.

Harper: Oh no, I totally had names I was throwing around. But once I settled, I was so scared, but when I met my babies I just knew that I picked the right ones.

Vienna: I've never experienced pressure like this before until now. Naming a child and picking the right one has so much gravity to it.

Harper: Oh it feels like the biggest decision in the world, but then once you meet them you just know that's them. Trust me!

“I don’t know, hair straightener has more than 3 syllables,” she played into it, smile subtle as she looked back. “I feel like that’s only a matter of time.”

“It isn’t about being too soft. I’m just too smart to end up in a confrontation with a brute. Use big enough because words and they are too confused to know if you are still fighting.”

"Now I know when you start using big words with me you’re just trying to stop me from hitting you,” she mused with a little grin. “Has that always worked for you or has it ever backfired?”

“Ooooh. I do like that. People are gonna think I’m your boo though. Are you comfortable with that?” Harper teased, playful little wiggle of her brows at him. “I don’t know about that, but some days it feels necessary.”

Logan: Sure. I can't say that 100% there isn't any other possibility but I can say knowing the facts that it isn't likely.

Harper: So, if you filter through the fluff, you're saying I'm right. You don't know what the future holds :)

Logan: Ah yes because in the history of conversation it always just changes the other person's mind about themselves when instantly contradicted.

Harper: That isn't at all what I'm implying. I'm just saying that sure, you know how you feel today, but you have no idea a month from now, or two. You can't be sure now, it's impossible to be.

Harper: One day I'll convince you to watch it with me. Just to say I did.

Andrea: Not that I remember? Might've, but I probably blocked it out if she did. Still sounds like entirely too much effort, but hey if it makes you and the kids happy, who am I to say it's completely unnecessary?

Harper: I feel like that was the cliche go to method to get kids to eat veggies. Well you have made it pretty clear that you do find it silly.
