Cul-de-sac outing
Fandom:Â Dream Daddy
Pairing:Â None
Setting:Â Maple Bay
Warning:Â Swearing? Almost motorcycle accident
Summary:Â Ernest saves Christie from being hit by a motorbike.
Words:Â 2943
Requested:Â Nope
Side note: Hi guys, I'm back and as much as I want to start uploading a story I'm currently writing, I wanted to give you something to show I am really back.
This was something I started writing years ago and never finished and every time I went back to it, I ended up throwing myself right back into writers block, the last few paragraphs were a nightmare and just killed to write but I did it so I have to say, sorry in advance for that last section not being as good as the beginning.
Also sorry for how weirdly dark this is, I think when I wrote this I was going through some stuff and just wanted to make some sad but happy stuff, also I'll be making a post with an explanation of why I was missing for 2 years and how abusive my job was.
It was your average day in Maple Bay, the sun was out, shining brightly across the small Massachusetts town as the sky was clear, free of any clouds. Birds were chirping as they flitted in between the trees of the park that each and every family of the Cul-De-Sac were currently resting in, the younger children running around the well-cut grass of the fields while they adults and teens sat on well-placed blankets, drinks and finger foods scattered around them all.
The breeze brushed through the branches all around them as the sounds of other families played and took advantage of the beautiful day, the only things that wasnât to most adults taste was a small gang of older teens revving their motorbikes not to far way, âimpressing girlsâ as Lucien told them, to which they all grumbled somethings about respecting the peace but it was soon forgotten and the teens were shut out to the back of their minds.
As many of the Fathers, including Mary, chatted about everyday pointless things; what tv show they watched the night prior, what they have planned for the week, any gossip heard, etc, while the older children, Lucien, Ernest, and Amanda specifically, either sat on their phones or talked about something completely irrelevant to their elders,
âDad, Carmensita taught me how to make a flower crown for you, now you can be cool tooâ the only child of Brian shouted as she ran giddily towards the set of adults, plopping the sweet smelling and very colourful flower crown on top of his head, causing the others around him to snicker behind hands ⊠well, except Rob who just burst into laughter right there and then, all while Brian praised his daughter for her talents and excellent craftsmanship,
âDamien, this was positively one of the greatest ideas anyone has ever had for the neighbourhoodâ Mary complimented, taking a sip of her wine glass as she leaned against her special boy who was quite bewitched by a book Hugo had recommended to him, smiling softly as he gently raised his head, resting it softly against hers as long raven locks merge with the young womanâs beautiful brown hair,
âMy dear Mary, you fluster me, it was just a simple idea strewn from many books I have read over the last few monthsâ the elder Bloodmarch explained, the faintest of blushes laid across his cheeks as he carefully marked his page, placing the book down against the soft blanket beside him,
âI can assure you, my dearest special little Damienâ the wine loving mother started, tipping her glass towards the Victorian clad man with a smirk, âitâs not that hard to fluster you, if it wasnât for the fact we were out in the openâ the sultry look in Maryâs eyes as she twisted herself around so her lips were inches away from his ear, âIâd show you other ways I can make you flusteredâ she whispered, kissing his earlobe gently but quickly enough to pull away so the others around them couldnât see which was perfect since she was then able to catch a glimpse of his bright red face before he hid it behind his hair and hands,
âMary!â Damien scolded but it was very obvious to the woman that he wasnât all too serious as she laughed, catching almost everyoneâs attention who were now confused as to why there was an out of breath Mary doubled over in hysterics and a poor flustered Damien trying his hardest to sputter out a response to her,
âAlright Mary, what did you do to my dad?â A disinterested voice spoke over the silence of the picnic blankets, barely peering up from his phone but enough to see the purple eyes of his father, peering out from behind a small gap in his hair, the breeze, every so often, pushes the locks back and shows just how flustered the man is, âcan you not flirt with my dad while weâre all on an outing?â the teen grumbled but a faint smile could be seen tugging at the end of his lips slightly at the antics of his father and his best friend,
âOh Luci, you act as if this is such a shocking display, Iâm only teasing you dear old dad, he should be used to it by nowâ she argued through gasps as she tried her hardest to calm herself down, one arm wrapped around her stomach as if to help the pain in her side from all that laughing, âand anyway, itâs not as if itâs something that should be kept away from your eyes, youâre sixte-â
âCHRISTIE, CHRISTIAN!â the loud voice of the pastor interrupted them, pausing the conversation and causing all eyes to locate the two young twins who were currently trying to climb a very tall tree and were now frozen in shock since they had been caught trying something so daring, âGET DOWN ⊠NOW!â Joseph demanded with a very stern look as his wife watched on with a very amused smirk, they were and always will be so sneaky but soon they obliged, following their fathers order and climbed back down,
âThose two are never going to change, are they?â everyoneâs favourite barista commented as he watched the twins take each otherâs hands before quickly running off to find some new danger to face which quickly earned a chorus of agreed hums, including the teens who were probably not even paying attention,
âDefinitely going to grow into little dare-devils, either that or quite possible something related to horror, theyâre too good at that creepy twin thing to give it upâ one of the other dads added, picking at their plate of food as everyone slowly shuffled back into a casual conversation between themselves.
As the day went on and everyone was enjoying their time in the sun, it seemed that a few of the attendees where becoming quite restless and frankly didnât want to be there in the first place, Ernest being one of them. The sun was still in the sky but lower than it was when they had all stepped from the Cul-De-Sac to enjoy the peaceful day, the warmth was still surrounding them all as a slightly colder breeze whipped through the air, brushing up against the party around the picnic blanket except for a single person who was bundled in a baggy orange jumper, not ready to feel any sort of wind hit his small body.
Ernest found himself standing from the ground to stretch out his still growing body, hearing some of his joints click from resting in a single position for so long,
âYou sound like an old man when you move Ern, maybe you should actually start exercising considering your failing Gymâ his best friend and one of the older teens of their group spoke, peeking over the top of his phone to lock eyes with the younger boy, âI donât think Mr. Cahn would mind you joining his early morning jogsâ Lucien teased which earned him a middle finger from the boy, a playful smack on the arm from his father and a thumbs up from the man in question who was very much laughing,
âOf course, bro, I can help you gain some muscle and help you pass Gym class, you look like you could use some meat on your bonesâ Craig commented with a huge smirk before lifting up little baby Rivers arms who was sat happily between his crossed legs, putting on is best baby voice, âErnest! Ernest! Iâll be your cheerleader; you can do it!â The youngest Cahn âcheeredâ which caused the toddler to laugh aloud but at this point, Ernest had already wandered off as he was trying to ignore the teasing, even if he was smiling at just how cute River was,
âIâll think about itâ the young Vega shouted back as he stormed off in whatever direction felt the best at the time, even as the giggles grew quieter, he could still feel the adults teasing lingering around him. Ernest had to admit, this day had been one of the best days in the past few months for him, unlike sitting in Josephs Garden with a barbeque, he felt like he wasnât held back here, he could actually wander, and the other kids seemed to love it just as much.
Each footstep Ernest took slowed until he was completely still, the open field in front of him pulled him away for just a moment, he may be a teen but in this very moment, out in the open air, breeze circling around him as he watched the kids of the neighbourhood play, Carmensita and Daisy, snuggled under a tree, creating more beautifully crafted crowns for the Cul-De-Sac men, Hazel and Briar, practicing baseball techniques, although he didnât know if pretending to throw a ball and then run head first into your sister would count as practice, and Christian and Christie, the shining twins, holding hands and running around, practically dragging each other around as they laughed louder than Ernest had ever heard before.
The Vega teen took this opportunity to close his eyes, allowing the atmosphere to truly sink into him as he imagined himself truly letting loose and wanting to do what he had missed so much ever since he grew into being a teen. The world in his mind changed as he imagined himself running through the field along side the kids, playing Pirate and pretending he was on some mystical adventure like he did once upon a time, he would never admit it to anyone, not even out loud for himself to hear but he truly did miss being a kid, missed being care free and high on life with no worries to deal with.
The sound of an engine revving broke the young teen from his thoughts, his secret fantasies disappearing as he opened up his eyes. Looking around to try and find the source seemed fruitless as the only thing he could see was the Christiansen twins running around as happy as can be, he remembered the group of bikers loitering around earlier, but it was almost like an invisibility cloak had been shrouded over them, nothing could be seen anywhere.
A sinking feeling fell through his gut, causing Ernest to watch the twins like a hawk, something about the open field staring back at him didnât sit right and he couldnât put his finger on it. Stepping ever so closer to where the twins played, the teens eyes darted around the vast empty grass, each upcoming second felt worse than the last until he knew that the clock had run out and a motorbike came racing around from a hidden spot near some trees, right towards little Christie.
Ernest didnât have time to think, he had no idea what was even running through his head, but his legs were moving on their own as he started sprinting across the field as fast as his body could possibly muster, either that or the adrenaline was doing something,
âCHRISTIE!â the teen screamed as he followed the bikes movements which were still hurtling towards the poor girl, her brother, who was the first to turn and spot it, ran as fast as his little legs could carry him past Ernest and back to the adults, not noticing that Christie was not attached to his hand as now frozen in place, staring directly at the speeding vehicle and it seemed like the commotion had caught the adults attention,
âCHRISTIE! MOVE!â a distressed female voice quite a distance behind Ernest could be heard calling out but it barely registered in his head as his only motivation was the get to the girl before the bike, he just wished that he had got her attention sooner then he wouldnât be feeling pure fire through his legs as he pushed every inch of himself closer and closer.
It was almost like a slow motion action sequence in a movie as Ernest used the momentum of his sprint to push himself off the ground in a jump, one arm wrapping around Christieâs body as he pulled her into his body and rolling out of the way of the bike, both arms surrounded the girl as he tumbled across the grass just moments before the bike skidded past the two of them, the wheels almost grazing the young Vegaâs head as he listened to the bikes engine become quieter and quieter until the only thing Ernest could hear was the sound of running feet and shouts of their names.
For a moment, Ernest was terrified that things hadnât gone how they were meant to, he was scared that if he opened his eyes, he wouldnât be holding Christie and he hadnât have gotten to her in time or worse, he had but neither one of them had moved out of the way in time. Thousands of thoughts ran through his mind and even as he slowly sat up, still gripping onto the girl in his arms, he wasnât quite sure if it was a dream.
Small hands gripped tightly onto the bright orange hoodie, shaking in shock and fear, snapping the poor boy from his own thoughts as his arms gripped her tighter than they already were, becoming the protective older brother for just one moment. His body fell into auto pilot as he slowly stood, legs wobbling and burning as he pulled Christie up into his chest, allowing her to wrap her little legs around him so he could easily carry her back towards the few distressed parents that were running towards them.
The ringing in Ernests ears hadnât stopped as he took shaky steps across the field, barely registering much except the weight in his arms, he barely recognised when a pair of arms wrapped around him, pulling the two kids into a crushing, protective hug, âMy baby!â a womanâs voice exclaimed above him, falling to her knees to keep them both in her arms tightly, her hold unrelenting and practically squeezing the life out of the two of them. The small girl in the teenagers arms had immediately started reaching out for her mother, wrapping her tiny arms around her mothers neck, âYouâre okay, Iâve got you, youâre safe nowâ those words seemed to snap the teenager out of whatever trance he was in, making out the face of Mary in front of him and Christie. Without much thought, Ernest wrapped his own arms around the woman, gripping onto her tightly as she soothed the two of them, kissing the heads with the motherly love she knew she had been granted, the secret power she had the moment she become a mother,
âThank you, Ernest, you saved her life, you were so brave, thank youâ she whispered softly, running a hand through his messy hair, holding him like he would drop to the ground if she let go for even a second. Moments of silenced passed, just the sound of their breathing joined together in the embrace, when a new pair of arms wrapped around the teenager, pulling him out of Maryâs hold and against a much stronger, taller body, picking him up from the ground and wrapping him in his arms like he was a child again,
âDonât you dare scare me like that again!â the new voice sounded angry but terrified, each word filled with unshed tears as he was held tightly, keeping the boy trapped in the arms around him, it only took a few seconds of silence before the voice of his father spoke again, Hugoâs words barely above a whisper, âIâm so proud of you, Ernestâ and that broke him, everything hit the boy suddenly and now, he was sobbing into Hugoâs arms, âCome on, I think we should all go homeâ someone from across the field stated and it seemed everyone else had been thinking the same as everything was slowly being packed away, allowing the two parents to comfort their children and themselves for a while longer, until eventually, as they moved back to the group, more and more bodies were thrown into them.
First, Christies twin, then the other siblings, then Joseph, all of them practically rugby tackling the two of them to the ground, holding onto them like their lives depended on it in that moment. For Ernest, however, it was just one specific person who was usually not one for such physical affection, not caring that he was technically hugging his teacher too, âI will brick you up in my basement and never let you out again if you even think about getting yourself killed again, Iâm not about to lose my best friend, you dumbassâ the white haired emo growled, hitting him so lightly against his arm that even a fly would have more power than that,
âAlright, home timeâ Hugo stated, placing a hand on Lucienâs back as he carefully carried his son back to the group, everyone standing and ready to leave, guiding the two families back towards the cul-de-sac, and in a whisper that Lucien and Ernest knew no one would ever believe them if they revealed this to anyone, Hugo leaned towards Robert, speaking to him and him alone, âIf you see them again, you have my permission to chase those fuckers down, Iâll be your alibiâ which earned a wicked grin from the man he spoke to, and honestly, if police did show up in the cul-de-sac a few days later, well, it seemed like an unexpected Friday night poker game just so happened to fall on a Tuesday this month.

Aaww that's so sweet, I miss everyone of my followers too đ unfortunately for the past 2 years I was in a job that left barely any free time, I was barely able to write or draw or anything, it was an awful place to be but now I'm back, my mental health is better and actually, I'm currently writing a little Gravity Falls fanfic to try and get me back into writing again, I really hope that my flow will come back and I'll be able to go back to some old fanfics I never got to finish, I hope I can post something soon, and once I get a new laptop, hopefully I'll be able to write more on the go instead of just my main computer, don't worry, it shouldn't be too long of a wait đ«°đ«°

oh god it's that time of the year again, so here are some quick reminders:
The content allowed on AO3 is legal according to American law. This is a sensible place to draw the line when your explicitly stated aim is to have a fanfiction site where the content is not subjected to random purges for obscure reasons
AO3 is run by a non-profit organisation. Nobody is making any money out of this, and when the donation drive goal is exceeded, excess money will go to running the site in the future and fighting potential legal battles for the right to create fanworks
It's possible to donate to AO3 and various charities etc, stop acting as though every cent donated to AO3 is a cent taken from "people who need it more"
"Fiction affects reality" yes but the fiction that actually has a societal impact is the latest heteronormative, subtly racist, mass marketed drivel from Disney, not that one properly tagged incest PWP fic with 150 hits and 40 kudos on AO3

The Isle of the Lodge
Pairing:Â None
Setting:Â The North Star Lodge
Warning:Â None? Harry?
Summary:Â Harry goes to Ireland under Gil's recommendation and meets his doppelganger, Sean
Words:Â 2815
Requested:Â Anonymous - Okay, this is going to sound weird but hear me out. I kind of would like a fan fiction of Harry meeting Sean from the lodge... please? >w<
Side note: I'M BACK BABY, kinda, I'm back for a little while since I'm moving house, I've decided to spend some time writing fics again to relax so I don't burn out but soon, I'll have to put my computer away and I won't be able to write again unless it's on my Ipad which I'm not too keen on but if it's all I can do, it's all I can do
It had been around three years since the barrier was broken, three years since everyone was free to do as they pleased, three years since Harry decided he was going to travel just like Jay and Gil decided to do. The whole world was open to him and one of the first places that the young pirate decided to go ⊠the United Kingdom, more specifically Scotland, with a few stop offs around the Country, no one else, just him.
The private jet skidded to a stop along the runway, the first stop along many in Northern Ireland, stirring Harry from his thoughts, his eyes glued to the window, only now seeing the new scenery around him, nothing like he had ever seen before. Without a momentâs hesitation, he whipped out his phone, taking a few photos to send to Uma and the crew before leaning back and waiting for clearance to move. While the poor, jetlagged pirate relaxed a little more than he had earlier, being on a plane for the first time really wasnât something he was all too happy about, he took the time to look around, taking in all the details of the plane Ben let him borrow, the plane in which he was insisting he didnât need nor want to be honest but no matter what he said, no matter how many different compromises he suggested, Ben was adamant he take one of his royal jets, not only would he have a personal chauffeur but he could go wherever he wanted as long as he made hotel arrangements, and even after hours of arguments, this is how Harry ended up sitting quite comfortably on an empty plane, just himself, his pilot and a lovely hostess who, even though she is meant to be doing her job, sat beside him and chatted for majority of the flight, easing his mind.
Since this entire trip was Harryâs first time anywhere other than Auradon or the Isle, the moment the plane had stopped and he was allowed up from his seat, everything was practically done for him, well, while he watched so he knew what he was doing. Passport checks, baggage claim, the whole thing, Harry, the Pilot, and the hostess experienced it together which confused a few of the airport staff quite a bit,
âSo, Mr. Hook, where is it that we are going to be staying?â the pilot asked as they all stood together just outside of the Airport, luggage beside them as the young pirate pulled out his phone and scrolled through the many different notes, calendar events and messages to find the correct thing he needed,
ââRight, so, weâll be staying at North Star lodge in Ballynahinch, suggestion from Gil when he came here a few months ago, dinnae ken why since from the directions Iâm getting on me phone says itâs about an hour and a half away from this place ⊠it better be a bloody well good place to stayâ Harry complained as he pocketed his phone again and looked around, âI guess we get a taxi or something?â the boy asked, looking between the two much older people as they just nodded and agreed as they all grabbed their things and heading off to the taxi rank, climbing into a taxi and quickly making their way to the random lodge in a random town in Ireland.
It was mid-afternoon when the group arrived at the small hotel, Harry watched out of the window in pure awe at the sights that passed them by, each sight was something new and now, he could see why Gil loved to travel. The hotel stood tall but not looming like Auradon prep or Benâs castle, it was just the right height, cosy even and perfect for his first true adventure.
Stepping out of the car, Harry couldnât wait to take in the area as he practically ran to the gate of the lodge, taking in every little detail he could see, it was like Evieâs little castle cottage but more rural and less fashion,
âItâs beautiful, Iâve never seen anything like itâ he commented, turning back to look at his companions who were chuckling at his childlike wonder, pulling their luggage from the car with the help of the driver, âwell, thatâs noâ exactly true but itâs close enoughâ he explained before rushing over to help with his own things, paying and tipping the taxi driver before they finally decided to head inside, ready to start his new life on adventures.
The moment Harry stepped inside, he knew his entire life had been leading up to this, it was nothing like Auradon, quite the opposite honestly, quiet, out there, perfect. As his companions took to being proper adults and getting their rooms, the pirate decided that this was a suitable time to actually look around.
Dragging his luggage to the side, Harry shuffled back out the front doors, out into the open world where he can finally see just what Gil gushed ever so much about and he had to admit, it was easy to see, the views, the fresh air, the birds chirping all around, it was incredi-
âWATCH OUT!â a voice from near him screamed as a bike almost came crashing into him, he leapt out of the way just in time for the wheel to skid to a stop just where he was standing,
âDo you have eyes, lad? Thereâs nothing for miles and yeâ managed to hit the only target here? Do you not know how to ride that thing?â he growled, demanding an answer as he glared at the guy, he hadnât really wanted to start any drama, he actually wanted to try and make at least one friend and zero enemies but almost get hit by a bike was definitely something Harry considered reasonable enough to be angry over,
âIâm sorry, my chain came off and I couldnât stop itâ the stranger explained as he climbed off the bike, inspecting the contraption before he paused and looked back up, âWait, are you Scottish?â he asked curiously, his head tilting to the side like a curious puppy needing more attention. Harry raised his eyebrows,
âUm, yes? Why?â the pirate asked, watching as the guy chuckled, balancing his bike on the fence beside them as he slowly reached up to take his helmet off, the entire situation just confusing him even more than anything he had ever experienced before,
âItâs not very often I get to meet another Scottish person honestlyâ the guy commented as he finally pulled his helmet off, âMy names Seanâ he stated and Harry finally got a good look at his face, leaving both men in shock as they stared at one another,
âI-Iâm Harry âŠâ the pirate whispered, unsure if his words were even heard or spoken to be honest, he couldnât fathom how he had flown across the world only to stare at someone who should really be on the other side of a mirror, ââŠhow?â Harry questioned all while the look-a-like stared back with just as much shock.
The silence between the doppelgangers was broken as the door beside them opened and out popped a young blonde with a bright purple shirt but it seemed neither boy noticed as they continued to stare,
âSean? You were meant to be in here like five minutes ago, whatâs taking you so ⊠long âŠâ the girls sentence seemed to drop off near the end as she too joined in on the staring, seemingly shocked by the two Seanâs or maybe two Harryâs? âAlright, someone needs to explain what the hell is going on here!â The new girl demanded, snapping Sean out his unexpected trance, causing him to quickly turn to his friend to try his hardest to explain what was going on in whatever the entire situation was,
âSkye ⊠I have no idea to be honestâ Sean admitted as he looked between Skye and Harry, pointing between the two of them as if that was going to explain anything, âthis is Harry, Your new guest.â the Scotsman quickly jumped to his bike, pulling it from the fence and lifting it to his shoulder, âAnd, well, Iâm going to go fix my bike. Iâll be back, try not to get us mixed up, yeah?â he teased as he wandered away, still looking a little shocked at the situation. The silence that followed was deafening, even as Skye shuffled forward and waved a hand in front of the newcomersâ face,
âHello? Earth to ⊠Harry? It was Harry, right?â Skye questioned, trying to shake the poor guy out of his daze, it was like talking to a brick wall, âhow about we take you inside and Iâll get you a drink to calm you downâ she advised, taking the still stunned Harry by his arm and guiding him back through the doors of the lodge where everyone was waiting and it didnât take long for the few other staff to also see the resemblance, causing a silence to fill the lobby,
âHoly ⊠did Sean get replaced by aliens or something?â a girl with braids woven delicately through her hair commented while the others stared, confusing the pair that had originally accompanied the pirate,
âThis is Harry, he and Sean bumped into each other, and it seems I canât get him to talk againâ Skye explained, however, it seemed like that didnât help as in that moment, anyone would be able to hear a pin drop if it wasnât for a sudden interrupting zipper. Everyoneâs head turned as the hostess stood back up with a package in her hand,
âWhat? His friends warned us that this could happen and since travelling through airports doesnât allow certain things, he wasnât allowed to have his comfort itemâ she explained as she slowly unwrapped the mysterious parcel, walking past everyone and standing in front of the poor pirate, âHere, Harry, you need thisâ she stated as she took his hand, wrapping his calloused fingers around a familiar metal handle which was almost like a shock to his system, his head shook side to side for a moment until he glanced down at his hook then back up to everyone that was surrounding him,
âSo, I may âave blacked out for a minute there ⊠So ⊠Someone stole meâ face?â Harry stated as he held himself tall, brushing himself off and making sure that he at least could keep some dignity but once again, the silence was the only thing left in the lobby as everyone who seemed to work there, an older man, the one they called Skye, the other girl and another guy, stared back at him in even more shock than before, âAlrighâ, this is gettinâ a wee bit weird nowâ,
âSorry, we just werenât expecting you both to be identical in almost every wayâ Skye explained as she snapped her fingers towards her friends, forcing them back into reality and into a series of questions to each other and Harry, which was quickly turning into a very overwhelming situation, luckily for Harry, there was a door right beside him and a perfect opportunity for him to slip out which he one hundred percent did.
The moment he was able to close to door and lean against it, he finally took a breath, his first adventure and somehow, he managed to involve himself with another crazy story,
âFinally managed to get away then, eh?â a familiar Scottish voice appeared beside him, startling the poor Pirate who almost banged his head against the door, âThey can be a little much but, theyâre like family to meâ Sean explained as he smothered down his shirt, making sure it looked good on him as he peeked into the mirror opposite him, âDonât worry, Iâll keep you safe until they notice youâre gone, so, whatâs with the weird hook?â the biker asked as he turned to his look-a-like with a smile,
âOh, thisâ Harry spoke, holding up his hook to show it off a little better, âitâs ma Daâs, ever since I was a babe, I always wanted to be like âim, when I was old enough ⊠and also to shut me up, he gave me his âookâ he explained before shaking his head in confusion, âI dinnae ken why I just told ye all thatâ pushing himself off the door, Harry moved over to the small seat closer to Sean with a sigh, âIâm guessing this is why Gil wanted me to come âereâ he chuckled nervously, pointing between the two of them,
âMy Dad?â Sean asked, turning to look back over at the pirate before his brain kicked in, âWait, sorry, you were probably meaning a different Gilâ he corrected as he moved to sit beside the other him, âI have an idea, why donât we start overâ Sean recommended, sticking his hand out to shake in greeting, âHi, Iâm Sean, Sean Matthews, I work here at the Lodge and it seems like we have to same faceâ he introduced which caused Harry to chuckle and take his hand, shaking it happily,
âNice to meet ya, Iâm Harry, Harry Hook, Iâm here visiting under ma friends guidance and it seems we âave the same voiceâ the pirate replied before bursting out laughing with Sean, the both of them relaxing, like this meeting was meant to be, âI know this might sound weird and it might just be because we âave the same face but I feel like I know ye alreadyâ he stated between giggles, leaning back into the seat with a sigh as he started playing with the end of his hook,
âYou know, I agree with you or at least, it feels like we were meant to meet one day ⊠that sounded weirdly sappy and romantic, that was not meant to be that wayâ Sean babbled, just causing the both of them to laugh even more, âhey, maybe weâre secret twins or somethingâ the biker wondered out loud, running a hand through his hair as he followed the pirates lead, leaning back and relaxing,
âMaybe, I neâer knew my Ma but I knew me Da and ye said ye had a Da so I guess itâs unlikely ⊠unless âŠâ Harry teased, jabbing Sean in the side with his elbow before suddenly sitting up, pulling his phone from his pocket with an excited gasp, âWait, I âave to send this to me Capânâ he stated, opening the camera and shuffling closer to his new friend who turned to him, face twisted in confusion,
âCaptain?â Sean asked before shaking his head and smiling as Harry snapped a photo and sent it insanely quick to a group chat of what Sean guessed to be his friends, âwell now thatâs been done, can I get an explanation on the whole Captain thing?â the biker re-asked, letting Harry shove away his phone to answer,
âItâs a long story, Iâm guessing ye met me friend, Gil, he came here about 4 months ago, anyway, thatâs noâ the point, the place we grew up, it wasnât a good place, I was raised by me Da who was a pirate, he demanded that I become a Capân, just like him but I met someone who became me best mate, Uma, then we met Gil, we took over a ship and everything fell into place, Uma was Capân, I was first mate and Gil became Quartermaster, thatâs how it was and itâs always been like that, even nowâ Harry explained, it may not have been his life story but it was as good explanation for now and speaking of the devil, all of a sudden, his phone blew up, message after message, beep after beep, âand there they areâ he chuckled, turning his phone on silent so they wouldnât have to hear the constant messaging from his friends,
âOkay, so, first off, your life sounds insane and I need to know more, and secondly, we need to find out if we are related or not, this canât just be a coincidenceâ Sean listed as he pulled out his phone, âhere, give me your number and we can keep in contact even when you leaveâ he said, handing Harry his phone to enter in his details, âthen, we can find out whatâs going on or at least become better friends at leastâ he explained while Harry finished and handed back the phone, âYe know what, Iâd like thatâ the pirate agreed, leaning against his new friend, mentally preparing himself for onslaught that lay beyond that door and beyond.
