I’m also a fan of both women, but I thought most ppl were upset at the inaccurate characterization of COA regardless of which woman they were fan of. I didn’t see any posts reveling in how negatively COA was portrayed. Also what edit of Anne Boleyn are u talking about?
Wait lol y’all know that Henry VIII like…. literally murdered Anne Boleyn, right? Nobody won with that one? Except arguably Henry VIII?

I have never understood why some KOA fans hate Anne Boleyn. Clearly Anne got the short end of the stick.

somehow knowing that tumblr is being kept around mostly as a testing ground for advertisers and corporations doesn’t even make me feel that exploited, because every social media site is exploitive. but being basically lab rats to test shit on before it’s refined for use in polite society is by far the funniest possible way to be exploited.

As far the annulment and remarriage to Hal Stewart, 1.They only have so much more time 2. I think they were trying to give Meg more independence bc of her terrible marriage to Angus. I remember a fan saying they hope the writers don’t have Meg remarry by the end even tho she does irl
I don’t know much about Reginald Pole so I don’t know what they were leaving out about him. I think that was also a matter of time.
Okay, what the hell was that ending? What the hell was that show? I...I have no words
I am just so utterly confused... like it was so clear to me how they dug themselves in a hole with Katherine actually sleeping with Arthur. The sudden exile of Margaret Pole from court came out of absolutely nowhere and it was obviously just to get her to go against Katherine.
But like... Maybe I'm just overly biased because I love Katherine and Mary but ugh I just have a million problems with it. I mean I like the somewhat (?) wholesome ending of Katherine leaving with Mary but then... what about her going to Ludlow in 1525? What about her having TWO loving parents and being seen by England as Henry's heir? I know it was hard to make a happy ending when you're dealing with KoA but it just completely screws up the timeline. Also the fact that Anne Boleyn had like two minutes of screen time lmao. (Although I'm by no means a Boleyn fan)
I could incoherently rant about this for hours lmao. There was just so many things they left unfinished. What about Reginald Pole? Meg's annulment and remarriage to Hal Stewart? There are so many things! Argh!

It seems Anne backing away from Henry after she exposes herself for him and he tries to reach represents how she refused to fuck him unless he married her. Anyone else thinking the same thing?
