hi Destiny! Got an question for you. I just got an xxl male tyrantrum and I can't think up of an name for him that he'll like. I've tried a few already, but he won't respond to any of them. Would you mind asking him what name he would like?

Other test done to the Android version of the Clip Studio PRO subscription done there. I can't draw as precisely as I do in Windows but the results are close.

Sadly the EX version subscription is too much of a stretch so I'll just use the Android tablet for singular illustrations on the go while I use EX on Windows for both this and the comic strips (I didn't forget about these, guys; It's been a challenge to manage time lately).

I admit I'll soon have to re-open art commissions to make up for this subscription and other general needs, please stay tuned for more news!

Reblogging since it's that time of the year once again with Lisbon celebrating the Saint Anthony Day with the parades and the old tradition of basil vases being considered the lovers' plant. 🌿

Still lamenting that Paldea didn't happen for this duo, at least on screen.

This short comic is allusive to a Portuguese tradition that’s celebrated at this time of the year, and tonight in Lisbon, which is to offer a basil plant (PT: Manjerico; Scientific name: Ocimum minimum) to your lover (typically to girls). It contains a paper flag with a quatrain either related to the festivals or love. These basils are iconic to the Popular Saints’ Festivals and are popularly known as “The Boyfriends’ Plant”.

The Popular Saints’ Festivals are back after 2 years of hiatus due to covid, and the parties of Lisbon are celebrated this evening until the end of 13th June (City Hall holiday). Porto will celebrate in 23/24th June. More info about these festivals in this link of Tourism of Portugal.

Still anxiously waiting for a confirmation if the incoming Scarlet/Violet region is either PokéIberia or just PokéSpain. I would really like Ash and Goh to discover my country and I’m fully convinced that they would love our most famous sweet: the Pastéis de Nata custard tarts!

It's with this song that we're introduced to the Mythical Pokémon Zarude in the latest animated feature film in the franchise to date. They live in groups in dense jungles and are aggressive. Their bodies are covered in vines that serve as lianas and which, when they fall, nourish the soil and help plants to grow.

However, this particular one left its pack to take care of an orphaned human child, which it baptised as ‘Koko’. According to the Pokédex, the pink fabric it uses as a cloak was originally used to cover Koko when he was a baby because the smell calmed him down. This simian proves that not all of the same species are hostile and incapable of feeling love.

I finally managed to finish a graphite drawing that had been on hold for at least a month.

I took a crockery Chinese Lion from around the house as a deliberately complex visual reference to test a set of 12 graphite pencils from Crelando that can be found locally at LIDL from time to time. The metal case includes a small eraser and a transparent pencil sharpener that erases and sharpens well, respectively. The pencils passed the test, although I found that the 8B broke very easily (perhaps I was unlucky with it).

Considering that the kit costs a lot less than 5€, it's a good recommendation for beginners or casuals who want to try their hand at graphite pencils on a budget. ✏️

probably not some of your usual asks but every once in a while my intrest in pokemon flares up again before dying back down to a regular flame. as that flame flares up I always end up coming back to reread this specific comic + fanfic series but this time there's a specific comic i ALWAYS come back to but I can't actually find it this time, so if you could name it you'll he a huge help 😭

the only part I remember from it is Destiny in a forest (maybe cerise park? probably a regular forest) turning around and running up to Goh obviously upset and i think crying, specifically calling him "papa" instead of "pa"

an alternative memory I have is a much younger Destiny (or maybe she was older idk man my memory is too bad for this) running up to Ash calling him "daddy" instead of "dad" as she normally does, hugging him.

as you can probably tell and see my memory is absolute dog water so a little help would be much MUCH appreciated, thanks 🫡

Judging from your descriptions (which don't 100% match, so I go for approximate results), you might be referring to either the comic of Destiny meeting Abra for the first time, or an old semi-canonic Valentine's comic. It's a matter of checking!

Watching the original version of a videoclip from a very known Portuguese rock group music track made me realize how queer are the lyrics, giving it a whole new meaning to them. Watch it if curious (we have really good rock music too)!

In the AU, the boys' first honeymoon afternoon was spent on a private beach next to the villa that was booked in Alola region so this could be a real happening! Happy Valentine's.

Every living being is born with Aura, but not everyone can use its potential.

In my Soul(mate)s of Light Pokémon AU, even tho Goh isn't an Aura User of the same level as Ash he managed to develop the capability to communicate (both through talk and telepathy) with Lunala and feel her presence.

The first time this happened was during his childhood in a search for a rare healing herb in Litten's Narrative's "Tropical Re-Encounters" thanks to a Lunala that shared him a telepathic image of its location.

As he grew into adulthood, this capability was enhanced with repeated contact with Nebby's Lunala mate in Alola region, who quickly gained a bond with the man that shared the same type of Pokémon Spirit, to the point of letting herself being captured by Goh for his Pokédex registration. Similarly to Suicune, he lets her roam free both on the Pokéworld and Ultra Space.

This 6-frame comic done in 2024 depicts one of his memories of one time he talked with Lunala during an Ultra Space research on her nest to study more about the Light Duo's biology and nesting spot. This particular memory is from a timeline where Goh was going through a lot of self-doubt and concerns about adopting a child, a request he kept giving no concrete answer to Ash for a long time. Lunala, an experient mother of several Cosmog and Cosmoem that successfully evolved and left their nest, felt his insecurities and offered advice, a determinant one to open Goh's heart to the important step that would decide everything months later upon their original encounter with Destiny.

Goh didn't know that his communication with Lunala was an Aura-related ability until Ash remarked that he never heard Lunala's voice, even when near her.
