Day 53:

Nasu please give us a summer Bedivere variant or costume but I prefer a variant

Give him a pool noodle and make him a lancer or keep him as a saber. Let him wack people over the head with it

Here is a concept for a Lancelot variant because fuck it. He’s consumed my brain and won’t leave me

So he starts off as a little child and he has this great big lance that’s specifically made for jousting and he just uses that instead of a normal lance. He goes by Galahad due to that being his birthname in his earlier stages and he’s even got super light lilac hair and it’s almost white even so he gets confused for a lily Galahad. his voicelines are just him sort of talking about wanting to be a knight and him talking about his younger brothers

and as you level him he sort of ages. his second ascension is him in his early 20s and he’s got a full suit of black armor. and his hair is slightly darker than it was in the first stage. he switches the jousting lance for a proper one, made out of metal verseus how the other was made from some sort of fiber. in this ascension he sort of still talks about becoming a knight but he mentions Galehaut in one line, and says how he likes handsome men(because i want him to be bi in fate still) and he‘s sort of attracted to the master? just slightly

in his third stage his hair is the same exact shade of purple it is has his saber version. His armor is shedded a little, including his boots and scars are visible on his feet. as this references the knight of the cart tale where he takes his boots off to cross the sword bridge.

in his final stage it’s his child version, clutching his lance as there is a water figure behind him(the lady of the lake) and he’s sitting near the lake with trees behind him. his noble phantasm is something pretaining to his mother in some fashion.

and i should explain why his hair gets darker over time. This is because of a little headcanon I have, that as he ages his hair gets dark and he begins to lose the blessings that was given to him as a child. and as a berserker, his hair is practically black

“oberon clearly hates us by the end of LB6 and it’s weird he and everybody else gets Loves Guda Disease” you fool. you imbecile. you illiterate clown. Oberon is a tsundere. He’s a huge fucking tsundere. He’s a tsundere where the dere is buried under a crapton of tsun which is buried under a mask of false dere where the universe is conspiring to prevent him from ever getting to show that true dere. The man only needs 40,000 bond points to get level 5 bond and the only two major humps are level 2 and level 5, the guy just absolutely melts during levels 3 and 4. He’s got the same bond numbers requirements as Nursery Rhyme, Anderson, and Shuten, they all may be on the harder end to Befriend but they’re still way easier to be friends with than Gilgamesh or Arjuna or most of the Avengers  or even Castoria. Even when you look at textual characterization rather than Bond Numbers, Oberon is still blatantly an “actions speak louder than words” type of guy where what he does tends to betray his true intentions more than anything he actually says. This man is blatantly the kind of guy where if you made him take care of a cute little doggie he’d bitch and moan and complain and act like he hates dogs, but if you left him for a while and came back you’d be able to tell that he’s actually very happy to be playing with and taking care of that little dog (even if he’s still annoyed that it barks at him to wake up at 5 in the morning to go for walkies). He’s that one meme scene of Skeletor yelling “I am not nice!!!!” even as he’s carrying a happy little puppy who clearly loves him. Oberon hates and hates and hates, but he also loves and loves and loves, he’s just in both deliberate and unknowing denial of just how much he actually does love. He’s an asshole but he’s not that big an asshole, and when you’ve got a whole entire story chapter about him, Guda, and Castoria, where their Three Pals party dynamic is so critical that it has an entire tag just for it on Pixiv, it makes perfect sense for him to get Loves Guda Disease now that he’s playable. He is your goddamn Friend and Pal even if he’s a dick about it and also has to wrap it in 5D chess levels of lies just to keep it genuine and real.

here is a little headcanon for Bedivere, he’s one of the ”i miss my wife“ type servants. except he doesnt have a wife, but he does have a husband. he like the others of that type of servants, long for his spouse to hopefully one day appear in Chaleda. Kay please come home

Fun little fact that I’ve been thinking about lately

is that there was a knight named “Drian the Gay” and he was once rescued by Lancelot. Drian was stuck in eternal sleep, in a coffin unless he was saved by a great knight(meaning lancelot)

there isnt much that i can find on him, nor can I remember where i learned about him.

Does anyone else headcanon Francesca chooses Sigma’s clothes? I’ve had this idea sketched out many years ago, but never really expanded on it. This was one of the biggest motivators to start this series.

Also probably going to put this series on hold since I want to work on my Sigma comic again.
