for the next day: Due to BB shenanigans- Charlie and co. are at the beach! What hijinks could possibly occur?

Day 200

While I am not usually one to complain about an early summer vacation, because BB is involved we still need to keep our eyes open for any danger. But until such a danger showed itself, nothing was stopping us from relaxing a bit. Roland was as happy he could be, deciding to spend this adventure wearing nothing but a speedo. "It's a beach afterall!" He exclaimed loudly and proudly. Well, he was wearing something at least, though I still found it very difficult to look anywhere near his direction. Especially when he and Astolfo started racing along the beach. 

The ever dutybound Bradamante was alert, keeping her eyes open for any signs of danger. I appreciate her efforts, but she really should relax a bit too. “Why not look for signs of danger in the water?” I asked her and she immediately seemed to catch on to the true meaning of my question. With a light laugh, she thanked me and walked away, eventually floating like a peaceful log on the waves. 

“Don’t you want to go on some adventure too?” I asked Charlemagne who was still standing by my side on the beach. He shook his head no, “I just have a feeling something awesome is going to happen!” 

It was then that BB appeared seemingly out of nowhere, floating high in the sky. “Are you having fun, Master?~” She asked with a wide grin, she was holding a holy grail of course, how did she get that? Nobody knows. “I got this for you, but to get it you’ll have to beat this guy~” She threw the grail on the ground and immediately the entire beach dried into a desert arena. The sand enveloped the grail and formed into a giant sand monster that let out a loud roar. “Of course, I can’t let you beat it however you want!~” A large volleyball net rose from the ground, followed by BB throwing a ball down on our side of the court.

The game was on and when fighting a holy grail powered sand monster there was no holding back. Astolfo glided in the air on his hippogriff, Roland used his Durandal as a bat to send the ball flying, Bradamante dove on the ground and saved many balls with her shield and Charlie was using all 12 of his swords to send the ball in every direction. Noble phantasms flew left and right and it was absolutely impossible for me to keep up with all the chaos, much less contribute to the game. “THIS IS FOR RUINING OUR VACATION!” Bradamante yelled as she jumped high up in the air, hitting the ball down in a powerful spike that went right through the core of the sand monster, knocking the grail out of it and making all of the sand sink back and the beach go back to normal. Breathing a sigh of relief, I went to pick the grail up as the servants celebrated their victory. Despite the chaos of it all, I couldn’t help but to feel a bit disappointed by taking no part in said victory. I felt a few taps on my shoulder and when turning my head I was greeted by the sight of Charles smiling at me.

“Want to play another game, Master?”

I did.
