the ‘proto-merlin is fou’ theorists are so fucking funny because they’re looking at all of this like. esoteric lore stuff and trying to piece things together and looking at the implications of her being a beast and ignoring the fact that fou fucking hates this guy. he fucking hates merlin. not even in like an absurd anime-type way, he just thinks merlin’s a fucking asshole.
