Are you still working on GrueQuest? Is there any news on a playable beta soon?

((Yes, I'm still working on GrueQuest (link goes to the devlog thread, which I just updated.) I'm aiming for an alpha release some time between March and July. Which is why there will only be 1-2 Twist updates a week at most.

Also, thanks for asking. It's nice to know that people are interested in it. :) ))

Sorry for the lack of updates

((I'm sorry I haven't been updating lately, I've been busy working on a new game: GrueQuest.

I was going to post something Thursday, but then something unexpected happened. Thursday I noticed that someone had stolen all of my video games and most of my dvds. And what's worse is that the person responsible is more than likely someone in my family (most likely my sister.)

I know it was someone in my family and not just a burglar because who ever did it took dvds from our living room and placed them in the shelf where my dvds are kept so I wouldn't notice right away (I kept my video games and dvds in a small shelf behind my bed where they can't easily be seen beneath the row of teddy bears I kept on them; if I hadn't noticed those bears were lower then they usually were it probably would have taken me a lot longer to notice.) Why they decided to steal my video games and dvds  and not the dvds from the living room I'll never know (whether they thought they'd get more money for mine or they thought I would never notice or whatever), but what I do know (and why I've decided to post this) is I can't keep living like this.

See this isn't the first time something like this has happened. About two months ago my sister stole my debit card and spent every dollar in my checking account (which is just one of the reasons why I suspect it was her who stole my games and dvds.) My family has just acted like if they pay me back for everything that was stolen it will all be okay, but it won't; this isn't about money. I can't keep living this way. I can't keep worrying about locking the door to my room every time I leave the house or whether I've left anything my sister might decide to steal out in the open. I'm anxious enough normally and Thursday I had the worst anxiety attack of my life. I just can't keep living under this level of stress.

So why am I telling all of you this? Because I need your help. I'm not asking for a hand out, that wouldn't solve the problem. I need your help to make sure GrueQuest sells well enough that I can move away from my family. Whether that help entails critiquing my planned features or giving me feedback on what I've already added or suggesting things to make the game better or telling friends about it or even just giving me a signal boost, whatever you can do would be fine.

Screenshots of what I've done already are compiled here and I'm going to post a video sometime within the next week. Anyway, thank you for your time and I hope I'll be able to update this blog with some real posts soon.))

((Short answer: Yes. Long answer: My psychiatrist increased the dosage of my medication and it destroyed my sleep schedule again (I was sleeping 14 hours a day for a while), but I'm back to the old dosage again.

So I'll finish the Babs story, which I've decided to call "Bully and the Beast", tomorrow and then I'll start doing normal updates on weekdays and TwistStuck updates on Saturday.))
