via NYPost: Immigration and Customs Enforcement is preparing to launch a “big f–king operation” across sanctuary cities — including Chicago and New York — immediately after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, multiple sources told The Post.

please think of the disabled people of gaza. please think of the diabetic people of gaza. please think of the neurodivergent people of gaza. please think of those whose lives are relying on medicine that has either stopped coming in due to the blockade, or is available in such scarcity that its price has skyrocketed.

we're approaching winter. on top of the challenge of securing waterproof tents and sufficiently warm clothing, some diabetic people in gaza have stopped taking their insulin as they can no longer afford it. those who are able to acquire it for now know every shot may be their last.

We are receiving testimonies from Gazan families that they are starving because the prices have sky rocketed. The price of flour is $200 to $600 USD. This is heartbreaking because it is an important ingredient to make bread. The insane thing is that the prices would increase on an hourly basis due to merchants and violent gangs controlling the market.

And if families survive from the attacks inflicted by the IOF, they are left without a tent, and they seek temporary refuge in the rubble, and they don't have winter clothing to keep themselves warm. They are freezing and shivering. It is up to the point where people may lose their life because of the freezing cold.

So I don't understand why this is normalized. Why are we OK with this? Many Palestinans are cold and hungry. They want to be warm and have a meal to eat. Why are we denying them this?

We are also seeing banking institutions and crowdfunding platforms determined to prevent Palestinians from raising funds so they can't support themselves at the same time. 1 of them is PayPal. They have announced on October 7th that fundraising services have shut down, and those with an existing one must finish raising funds by January 12th, 2025.

Iyad Sobhe (@iyadsgaza) and Ruba Abushahan (@rubashsblog) are raising funds with PayPal ever since GFM has either terminated their fundraiser or made them lose access. Iyad has lost 11K while Ruba can no longer withdraw the 27K.

They can not afford to start all over when PayPal is their last resort. This means we have less than 2 MONTHS to raise the entire amount of 60K! So please donate and share! Donations have slowed down significantly, resulting in 1 or 2 donations per day, when we should be raising $600!

You can match me! I have given $10 USD, but you're more than welcome to give any amount. Even as little as $1 USD! You can also participate in an art raffle hosted by @/transformers4palestine. The final round of winners will be declared on December 4th, so check it out, join in, and be part of the fun!

About Sims 4 Mod Manager

It came to my attention a few days ago that a popular program used for sorting custom content, Sims 4 Mod Manager, is based on Overwolf software. The issue with this is that ad placements on Overwolf programs give a 20-30% cut to Overwolf directly. As stated on their website. I know it is an Overwolf program because you can find Overwolf files within it:

Personally, I do not mind un-obstructive ads on free programs as long as they are vetted by the developer, but I do not want to give Overwolf any money. So I will be kindly contacting the developer via the contacts on his website and ask he divest and use a different avenue with the ads. Maybe moving to github instead. He is also recently released a curseforge integrated app.

If you are to request the divestment, please please do so with respect as to invite people INTO the conversation and not put them in a defensive position. No one likes to listen when they are being threatened or harassed. 🤷‍♀️

I know many will be disappointed with this news as it is a great, one of a kind program, so I wanted to offer some alternative methods besides manually sorting custom content:

Sims 4 Mod Assistant: A small app used to find duplicates and mod conflicts. Also supports filtering and moving files to other folders. Available on Mod the Sims and Github.

S4Pavir: It's not that pretty, but it can be used to view, remove, and sort cc. Available on Github.

You can also use sims tray importer to sort through cc. Dress your sims in all the cc you want to remove or place build/buy items on a lot. Save the sim/lot to your library and use Sims 4 tray importer to view the list of cc used, and open its file location to delete. Available on Luniversims (.fr)

Let me know of any other methods you know or notify me if there are any issues with these two programs.

Hopefully there is a positive outcome with reaching out to the creator. Please be respectful and you can use my pinned post as a reference for why curseforge is a problem. 🙏
