its my personal headcanon that no one actually processes the fact that frae is blind until at least after the grove party like. he's just so well adjusted to things like travel and interaction (and even combat) that its easy to overlook the telling details in his behavior that he, actually, cannot see. at some point the companions are just like wait one second and have to go to him for confirmation.

frae, feigning indignation when someone approaches him just like "of course I'm bloody blind ! why would I lie about a thing like that ? I guess I just fumble around for the hells of it !" and then makes a point of exaggerating his blindness in camp the next few nights just to milk it and make fun of everyone (good naturedly, ofc. he thinks its hilarious)

I may give him a couple levels in warlock for story reasons - I'm thinking his patron has granted him blindsight, and thats how hes been able to function as well as he has.

I feel like frae would totally be a t*ktok influencer. he'd love it, honestly. posting clips of his performances as well as little adverts. magic tricks, his own music, funny little skits about being blind, costuming. and I don't know exactly how he'd do it, but he'd totally learn the dances and post them.

but fun fact, while frae loves performing and has spent his entire life perfecting various skills, dance has not been one of them. he likes to dance, he's just always been kind of self-conscious being blind. so him dancing on the tok would be the only place he'd do it.

also, can you just imagine t*ktok in a world where magic exists ? like an urban fantasy ?
