Cam Zink took a hell of a spill on an 80 foot jump for the Red Bull Rampage 2012 XXL Big Jump.  The best comment on the YouTube site was "I honestly think I'm ok "... Luckily I landed on these 2 giant balls and they cushioned the landing for me.

quiksilverQUIKSILVER PRO FRANCE 2012

In the cold, peaky barrels of La Graviere beach in Hossegor, France for this year's Quiksilver Pro, Kelly Slater held off WWII flying ace look-alike Dane Reynolds to grab his 51st ASP win, firmly establishing himself as the man to beat coming down the homestretch.  John Florence and Parko were in the running but kelly apparently felt at home in the conditions, and when that's happening, uh... where's the remote?  Game over.

BOUNCING SOULS - "COIN TOSS GIRL"

Everyone's punk fan's favorite band at one time or another, The Bouncing Souls, have put out another great video, this time for their new song "Coin Toss Girl."  The vidoe features the band serenading us in '50s suits in a bowling alley while a leather jacketed punk debates with a coin toss whether to 'marry' or 'bury' his best girl.  The Souls never disappoint and this vid's a instant classic.

LUAN OLIVEIRA WINS MALOOF MONEY CUP

We didn't have enough actual money to send our guys down to South Africa to cover the 2012 Maloof Money cup, so that means we have to draft on the RIDE channel's coverage of the event.   Apparently from the video, Luan Oliveira crushed it and brought home the $100,000 samolians.  If Luan and his agent would agree to give us just 10% of his winnings, next year we could roll down there fat and cover this event for them.  Until then, thanks to Tony and the Ride channel for showing us how Luan grabbed the stacks.  Make it rain!

SLATER WINS HURLEY LOWERS PRO 2012!

Havoc had a front row seat as Kelly Slater just re- re- re-confirmed that he's an unstoppable force in surfing that has no intention of slowing down any time soon.  By taking the podium, the 40-year old gained his record 50th ASP event, his 6th overall and 3rd consecutive win at Lowers, $105,000, and a big momentum builder toward a record 12th title.

SHAUN WHITE BUSTED!

Sounds like skater, surfer, snowboarder, Olympian Shaun White got up to some hi-jinx at a hotel, got a little boozy, pulled a fire alarm, tried to evacuate, got held up by a bystander and fell down and hurt his noggin'.  The whole story gets a gold medal from Havoc.  Congrats Flyin' Tomato!  You've made the celebrity mug shot hall of fame.
