A detail I don't see many talk about in Round 2 is that it shows that Sonic's voice becomes less and less robotic as he gains self awareness!

Compare Sonic's game over lines between forms:

Notably Midareta also has conflicting lines, which makes sense considering Midareta is in between awareness states and doesn't know how to handle it

There's a lot of thought behind this guy even in the small details!
