The way that Touya never opened up to anybody throughout the entire story

but now he’s letting Shouto—his stranger of a brother hear all the feelings he’s been holding in

—makes me so happy to see. He doesn’t even know Shouto.

But all it took was one moment of interest in his existence from a family member—even the one he never got to know or get attached to—for him to finally let it all out.

He didn’t just tell him what happened, his words let Shouto know how much it hurt.

Can you imagine how hard it is to be a geologist/paleontologist/archeologist in the ATLA universe? Really any job involving rocks and dating things via rock layers must just be exhaustively difficult.
