âThen kiss me in my office with the door shut. See? I can compromise. Iâm very reasonable.â Carson nodded as she spoke. He didnât really know what to believe. He wouldnât have been so persistent if he didnât feel like their chemistry was strong. Yet sometimes he felt like there was a wall between them but he never knew when it was going to pop up. âAlright, fine,â he shrugged. âIâll call and cancel.â
âAnd if I come out showing signs that my lipstick is all smudged and your lips are suddenly pink, then what, hmm?â Hazal reasoned with him. He was disappointed. She could tell. He probably wasnât buying her story either and while a part of her knew that it was probably better to just let him slip away instead of getting involved with Carson, she couldnât help herself but feel bad. âIâm sorry,â She sighed âbut itâs like I said, Iâve got other things on tonight buuut if you let me know ahead of time then maybe we can take a rain check?â The smallest hint of a smile broke through but she didnât want to blow him off completely especially when it seemed he was making an effort.

âTo be fair I favored you before we started going out so I think that counts for something.â Carson was rarely serious. He never presented himself as such because he didnât want any expectations made. So while he could have joked it off he decided to say what was actually on his mind. âI⌠I donât get you. One minute you are into me and things are going great between us like things are actually progressing and then the next you act like youâre not into me and Iâm forcing this.â
âYes, well, youâve never exactly been subtle about it but I think it may raise a few red flags if I started kissing you in the staff room.â Hazal pointed out. âItâs not -- itâ not like that.â She stammered a little, not really expecting him to get so upset about it. âI mean, I do like you and things are progressing. At least, I think they are but I just canât tonight. Youâre not forcing me but I -- itâs like I said. I have other commitments.â Telling him about her mother was no where near something she were comfortable with doing just yet and it definitely wasnât on the cards any time soon either.

âYou just always seem to feel the need to find away to skirt around me being in charge, donât you?â He shook his head at her. Carsonâs smile faltered slightly as she seemed to actually be rejecting his offer. âCome on, you seriously rather just go home then go on a surprise date that I planned for you?â
âWell itâs weird if Iâm getting favourable treatment around here because Iâm going on dates with the boss, is it not?â Hazal clarified. She knew she had a point. He had to understand that. âTrust me, itâs not that Iâd rather go home.â Her frown stayed in place. That was the truth but she had other commitments on her hands. âItâs just -- you canât keep springing things up on me. Iâm not always free.â

âWell according to you, you were still working for another 12 so my authority still rules. And what fun is asking when I can spring things on you?â He leaned against the doorframe. âHome for what?â
âIf Iâm working overtime I donât know if it necessarily counts.â Hazal mulled the thought over in her head for a moment but she tried to hold back the little frown that formed. It wasnât like she could tell him. Life was more complicated for her than he new. âIâve just got to get back. Tonightâs not really a good night.â She pressed her lips together for a moment.

âYouâre right. I do though so that makes it even better. It seems like I came just in time. So lets go. We have a date we need to get to.â
âActually, you only call the shots when itâs work hours. What date? You couldnât have asked first, could you? I have to get home.â

âDolly Parton would back me up on this. Honestly you are lucky I showed some restraint and didnât come here 18 minutes ago.â
âHmm, and somehow I donât think Dolly calls all the shots here. You couldâve waited an extra 13 more. Then Iâd be straight out the door.â

âThe clock says 5:18 but other than you, who says Iâm done?â
@hazal-kaplanâ
âThe time is now 5:18 which means work is done and I am requiring that you come with me.â

âI just feel like she is the kind of person who had one guy in high school say it was good after a first kiss and then she just never changed what she was doing from there and now wonât take any critiquing cause she is convinced that sheâs that good.â
âWell, did you at least tell her that she had, uhm, room for improvement?â

âItâs one thing to get cum on you from sex you had. Itâs another to get it from a third party, but have it,â she gestured to the seat.
âIâm not afraid of it. Youâre being dramatic but thank you for the only seat in the house.â Hazal shrugged as she plopped down on it. âYou might be standing all night if thatâs what youâre worried about, you know?â

âWould you have let me in? Got a thing for helpless men?â
âWell.... no. I havenât got a thing for helpless men but I mightâve at least been a gentlewoman and held the door open for you if you said please.â

âI have been charming with you long enough. But if this is you begging to be romanced again then I guess I have a little more left in me,â he gave a little shake of the head. âI have been trying to kiss you since the day we met.â
âMmm, I actually did like the guy who tried to woo me. He put in effort.â Hazal teased but she found a slight smirk breaking out. âYeah, well - youâve got to earn it first.â

âHow would I have gotten in the building? It was a pull door if you recall.â
âIâm sure if you stood around looking hopeless enough someone wouldâve felt sorry for you and let you in.â

âAt least two orgasms,â he teased. âYouâre only the second one. The first one said yes but then I saw you so I told her to hold that thought.â
âHah -- you know for a guy whose meant to be really, really charming, youâre not really selling the whole vision.â Hazal responded flatly although she tried to make it sound like she were joking. âI think we need to at least try for a kiss first before youcan get away with that one.â

âIâm gong to guess that she hasnât given many of those. Or if she has it must be geared to a very specific type of guy.â
âThat bad, huh? I think she was betting on you enjoying it sloppy. It looked like she was really, really into it from where I was standing.â

âI can assure you - thereâs probably going to be way more places to avoid after the night ends.â Hazal shrugged, dismissing the warning.
âI wouldnât sit there. I can promise you from getting here five minutes earlier that stain is not from a drink.â
