++ Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Jay was raised by his mom and his older sister. He is actually a middle child, having two younger sisters. He wanted to be an idol after watching 2pm on stage. He tried out for all of the major companies, being rejected by all. While he left his YG interview, he was scouted. He, of course, immediately joined the company, even though he thought it was a scam. He was the fifth member to join PLAYLIST.

++ Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Erin is an only child. He joined a dance team while in middle school after losing a bet, then joined the high school team after he lost another bet. He didn't have the desire to be an idol but did like dancing. When the group traveled to compete at a competition in Korea, he was scouted while eating in the food court. He challenged the scouter to a game of rock, paper, and scissors to see if he would join if he lost, which he did. He was the fourth member to join PLAYLIST.

++ Born in Dageu, South Korea, Jackson was born after his older brother, Kang. As he grew up, he was quiet and stood often to the side. He was so quiet that kids nicknamed him "moss." While out with his mom at a store, he was scouted. He at first, refused but after the company told him he would get a room to himself at the dorms, he accepted. He was the third member to join PLAYLIST.

++ Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jinyoung was raised by his father. While he worked two jobs to support them both, he also worked at a convenience store when he was in middle school. His father owned a small guitar that Jinyoung would play for him, and his father always compliment Jinyoung's voice. One day after school, she was scouted while walking home. When he told his father, he was proud and told him to chase after his dream if he wanted to, which he did. He was the second member to be added to PLAYLIST.

++ Born in Jeonju-si, South Korea, Akira was born into a family with two sisters and one brother, marking him as the youngest. He grew up as the family's golden child, his family gave in to whatever he wanted to do. Instead of following in his older sibling's footsteps and joining an academic academy, he joined an arts high school for dancing. He was scouted there and trained all through high school, along with a bit into college. He was the first member to be put into PLAYLIST.
