RC9GN OC - JAYDEN (updated!)

(also disclaimer- this is the rc9gn oc of a pre-existing oc/my main oc that i already have so it’s now kinda like a jaydenverse thing lol)

meet Jayden- an androgynous amnesiac who attends Norrisville High in hopes of remembering who they were ! though closed off, they have a knack for helping people (probably) or randomly just being there. despite thinking a lot of people are dumb in the school, they usually just avoid people and try to stay away from unneeded attention or drama. they are apart of Dancing Fish and the Norrisville High swim team.

LORE

- Madly in love, the two had decided to move to a private lab, away from Mad Scientist University.

- Initially, all attempts at creating life unfortunately failed or resulted in mutations, no matter what the two scientists tried.

- This was until Jerry happened to stumble across one of the Sorceress’s Chaos Pearls. Intrigued, he decided to hold on to it and study its alluring nature.

- Without realizing it, the purple orb slowly began to twist his already twisted mind beyond recognition, despite his awareness on the orb’s effects upon research and tests on mice.

- It’s only when he finally promised the Sorceress to be his servant that one of the baby experiments finally worked.

- Jayden had a semi-decent(lies) childhood, but was never allowed outside. Only was allowed to run tests as a lab rat.

- While Marlene and Jerry tried to raise Jayden, the chaos orb eventually got to Jerry so much that he decided to start torturous experiments on Jayden. To teach them to survive (simulated war games), to be ruthless(creating eldritch horrors for them to fight against), and to be a ‘weapon.’ (manifesting water manipulation powers into Jayden via Sorceress stank & planting an anti-matter particle accelerator into their heart.)

- The other countless alive but miserable experiments eventually noticed Jerry’s change in behavior, and in response began to riot, destroying the Discroll lab in the process, along with the heart of the lab: the nuclear reactor.

- This incident led to Jerry’s death, now referred to as a ‘funny story’ by Marlene.

- Furthermore, Jayden’s memory of the incident has been wiped by Marlene as well, before giving “custody” of Jayden up to another mad scientist she knew at MSU, who now takes care of Jayden with plenty of shelter and food to provide. She cannot bear the thought of causing them anymore pain with her presence alone.

- Since then, Jayden has been on the hunt, trying to figure out pieces and clues of their true identity throughout Norrisville and their school.

BONUS DEETS

- Jayden loves strawberries because it’s the first thing besides weird nutritional mush that they’ve ever eaten, and the vivid taste stuck with them ever since.

- Jayden (as seen in their inventory) secretly carries a Sorceress ball with them. They don’t know what it is or what it can do, but they have a feeling it’s connected to their past or the school somehow.

- Jayden only gets stanked once/very rarely in their life because they meditate a lot to help control their emotions. If they feel too much emotion all at once, they can explode. (literally- due to the anti-matter particle accelerator in their heart exploding)

- Because Jayden has Marlene/Mrs.D as her science teacher, things tend to get awkward when she has to help them with assignments or when they call her for help themself. She visibly is more nervous yet soft around them compared to all the other students.

- (BAD END) In the circumstance that the Sorceress’ plans work to bring back the Sorcerer in time before he’s defeated permanently by the Ninja, Jayden would probably be treated as a pet or as their child, along with the little rat that would keep the Sorcerer company under the school.

- Jayden is actually really good at the drums. Why aren’t they in band? They don’t care to be in it.
