My name is Abdulmajid.

I got married one month before the war. Those were beautiful days — full of hope, love, and simple dreams. I dreamed of a small home, a quiet family, and a baby girl I could hold without fear.

But the war came… Suddenly. Brutally.

My mother was killed. My brother was killed. Children in my family were taken by the bombs. My home was destroyed. And my work stopped completely.

Hi. Thinking about Stan's fake funeral in the mullet dad au. Would Lucy go to the funeral? She did "lose her dad" so her absence would be pretty notable. I'm imagining Stan coaching her on looking appropriately sad and reminding her that she's legally his "niece" and all that. There would probably be a lot of complicated feelings there.

Shadow Over Stans AU [SOS au] Is a 'what if?' on a different alternate universe "A Better World" in which Stan took Ford's journal and sailed off to the ends of the Earth to bury it. Only to be found 5 years later after he was presumed dead, on an isolated island where he has 0 memories of anything beyond the island, including Ford, and living a perfect happy life that's may or may not be orchestrated by Cthulhu themself.

OR Stan ditched everyone to rizz up Cthulhu who then gave him amnesia

(SIDE-SIDE NOTE:Right from the bat you may notice that this au is in direct reference to a story by H.P. Lovecraft's "Shadow Over Innsmouth". But it's mainly an inspiration and not exactly an exploration of "What if the Stans are in the Shadow Over Innsmouth story" meaning there are some elements that reference the story, but a bulk of the story, lore, and even the characters [mainly Cthulhu] are completely different so if you're here for that, my bad, but if you're fine with it then I hope u enjoy :D.)

In a better world, Stanley takes the journal... and lives? 😱😱 . . . Had this idea living in my head for a while now of a variant of the Better World AU where Stan gets a boat and DOES sail somewhere but its just to some small desolate port town that totally doesnt have secrets and anomalies living in it

Stan tries to restart his life but its just not the same. Whats he supposed to do with the money hes earned if its not to make it up to his twin?

Stuff happens, he rizzes up some God of the Sea sleeping in town (thats totally not Cthulu or anything) and in a fucked up way of trying to make Stan happy, wipes out all the memories that causes him to be sad (which was... Most of it?? All of it???)

and now Stans seemingly living the perfect life with a supportive community who gives him purpose and love and nothing is wrong with it at all And wow, some outsiders are visiting town and they're pretty cool af. That one with the six fingers is my new best bro now :D

If Ford gets to have all his cool sciencey shit and got to date the illuminati then who says Stan cant get to have his own 'better world' and have a codependent relationship with Cthulu?
