CHLOE: like i know all i gotta do is drive a ways outside of los angeles but it was so nice to just be in my back yard and look up and you could basically see the milkyway. i miss that :/

“ yeah, it feels like tv for kids has really gone downhill, hasn’t it ? ” andrea commented. “ like we had lizzie mcguire and now they have these god awful shows. the only good thing left is sesame street. ”

“um all three?” andrea said with a laugh but then adding, “but mostly about death. like i had a bad break up but i mainly write about grieving over the death.”

“the caveman one was so funny!” andrea said with a laugh, remembering the meme. “it’s also like so nostalgic because i grew up with spongebob when it was actually good, ya know?”

           “well, yeah. sometimes. but my poems aren’t always used as lyrics, they’re like … some sort of something that will be added in the final touches and some shit like that.” she shrugged. “what are you writing about now?”

“yeah, i feel that. sometimes i just write to write, not to write to release,” she mused. “i’m writing about grief right now. which is probably something i write about too much.”

     “it’s fine, you’re really fine. i just caught you at a bad time.” the exhaustion was evident on her face and it was no secret that celine had started to slow down; she had to, for her own health and her daughter’s childhood. the girl was brilliant but that didn’t mean she didn’t put on a tough front when her mother was concerned. “so, anything else worth mentioning? how’s everything with you?”

“yeah,” andrea said with a small chuckle escaping her lips. she had been having a lot of those, bad times, for what felt like forever. “it’s actually pretty good. i’m a little overwhelmed with stuff but like that’s just life, right?”

“I feel like it was a pretty successful night,” the dark-haired boy said to the other sitting across the Starbucks table. “I mean, I flashed the guy at the liquor store for two free T-shirts and a giant Redbull.” Danny took a sip of his iced vanilla bean coconutmilk shaken latte. “Oh, you’re welcome by the way,” he pointed out as he swallowed his sip.

“i don’t think i could ever flash someone just for shirts and a redbull,” andrea said, sipping a chai tea latte. “i don’t think i could flash anyone for anything. i’m not that bold.”

andrea could still taste the ice cream that she & kamia had shared recently. it tasted like sweetness, cookie dough & a little bit like home. she hadn’t been able to stop thinking about that night, about how kind kamia had been to her when she was falling apart. when andrea heard the song twenty-four seven, she had a feeling it was for her. just a gut feeling. when she read kamia’s blog post, that confirmed it. she decided to thank kamia for writing such a beautiful song by buying her cupcakes & wine to bring over to her house. she was a little nervous, if she were being honest. like butterflies in her stomach. she knocked on the door of the singer’s house and waited for her to answer the door as she tried to calm down the butterflies.

               zan couldn’t help but laugh. her current favorite meme, mr. krabs playing a despacito on the world’s smallest alexa, just made her day better whenever she looked at it. “ i know right ?? like – spongebob AND despacito. you can’t go wrong with a combo like that. ”

“ spongebob memes are so amazing, ” andrea mused. “ like they’re so versatile, you know ? one spongebob meme is about freaking out about something and another is about being exhausted after doing a small task. the possibilities are just endless. ”

mickey shrugged as he lifted his own phone up to check his twitter feed — hypocrisy be damned. yet again, it was nothing but mindless celebrity gossip and whatever music his friends were promoting. “come to think of it, history was never my best subject,” mickey said, eyes still glued to the gossip on his screen. ”wow, is it true that you have a secret twin hidden in your basement? god, paparazzi can find anything these days.”

at the mention of the word twin, all the playfulness left andrea’s face. she gulped as mickey talked about gossip blogs who were commenting that she hid her twin in the basement. she raised her eyebrows at him and tried to take deep breaths. “um...yeah, that’s not true. my twin isn’t in my basement.”

ANDREA DROPS A COVER ON YOUTUBE !

andrea matthews, who started out her career on youtube, went back to her roots by posting this cover of leona lewis’ song bleeding love. she started out saying that this song meant a lot to her, especially recently. the song is about finding love after being hurt. this could possibly be a reference to her breakup years ago.  but does that mean she’s finally moving on ? and who is she moving on with ? we’ve seen her hanging out with kamia locc recently who it was rumored wrote a song for andrea. could that be who andrea is crooning about in this beautiful cover ?

“yes, this is how we will heal the world! through wholesome memes and puppies,” andrea replied, laughing along with the male sitting across from her. “that’s a good idea, that’s what i do. it’s really therapeutic and like...freeing to get all of my emotions out in songs, because i’m not always great at doing it in general.”

“yeah, alexa play despacito is going to be merriam-webster’s word of the year,” andrea joked. she looked at zan’s phone and had trouble containing her laughter over the meme. she almost spit out her tea. “oh god, that’s brilliant.”
