“don’t you have some reserve? i mean if you were that hungry you would have ate already, we both know that. no matter if you’ve got a sprained ankle or anything.” he told her with a roll of his eyes, and then he was supposed to be the overdramatic one? he would probably just order some pizza. he turned his gaze towards her, not believing any words. “if you got a one night stand and the guy left his boxer here... you can tell me you know? i know you enough to know you wouldn’t buy yourself some male underwear just like that.”

“Well that’s just….” great, he finishes with a sigh instead of the word. Shaking his head he handles the business at the door before heading inside. Once he’s on the couch next to Hal and already digging into his first, of many, eggrolls the blond laughs. “Yeah, I’ll watch whatever. How long is this?” Barry asks absentmindedly, too engrossed by his own food at the moment to pay the world around him any mind. The food was incredible, as it always was, but he couldn’t help but be entirely submerged in the world of this eggroll, at least currently. “Just let me fall asleep on your shoulder and I’ll watch anything with you,” he admits. “I mean I really couldn’t care less, movies don’t do anything for me.”

Hal took an eggroll for himself as well, dipping it on some kind of chinese sauce he already forgot the name of and chew on it, letting out a moan of content right after. Let’s just say that space food wasn’t as good as those things that tasted like HEAVEN. Yeah, if there is something he missed about earth the most it would be the food. “Oh it’s not too long. Only three hours and thirty minutes if I do remember correctly. I remember that back in the days, when it came out in VHS, it was in two parts because it was too long to fit in one film.” He replied with a little smile playing on his face, already knowing that his best friend would be asleep way before the middle of the movie. “My shoulder is all yours to sleep on, Bar. As long as you are with me, I sure won’t mind. I missed spending nights with you, you know? It has been a long while.”

Diana blinked a couple of times, trying to gauge whether or not he was actually standing in front of her or if this was a hallucination brought on by her exhaustion. And then he opened his mouth and she knew that she wasn’t imagining things anymore, “I don’t know whether to hug you for being here or punch you for being here right now.” Her tone gave away that she wasn’t entirely serious about the last part.

“Well if I have any say in this, I’d say you should hug me... Or maybe I could hug you? It has been so long since I last saw you Diana and I missed you oh so much.” Hal commented with an amused smirk appearing on his face. “I actually wanted to go out maybe but if you’re too tired, it can wait.” He should go back to Barry’s anyway, where he was supposed to be already a few hours ago but he couldn’t be back here and not go to his favorite places after all.

“to kill you? wow, that’s an interesting story i’d love to hear about.” hal commented with a laugh. “i’m pretty sure all of my bosses wanted to kill me at least once but never got around to actually do it.”

“No,” Bucky said, trying to clench his metal hand into a fist and only managing it for a few minutes before his fingers uncurled without his permission and began again. “It’s just a fluke, or whatever.”

“A fluke, really?” Hal didn’t believe him at all but he didn’t know the man, he couldn’t let himself be his annoying self around him or be too pushy. He looked down at his metal hand, curiosity filling his eyes. “How is it like? Do you feel anything with it or...?”

Hal had been away for quite a long while, a few months at GREEN LANTERN CORPS seemed like forever and now that the whole aliens invasion was over well, he came back. Not that he didn’t want to help (that’s really all he wanted to do, make sure that his friends were okay) but he couldn’t leave until well... Now. First thing he decided to do wasn’t to go see Barry or Carol or anyone else for that matter. No, the first person he wanted to see was none other than the younger male who just opened the door. He was a bit surprised at first when he closed it but his smile stayed there as he looked at the grown up man in front of him. “Ollie didn’t tell me anything... But maybe he should have, What happened to you? Alright, I guess I know but...” He frowned. “You look bad, Roy. When is the last time you took a shower?”

He’d been off the methadone for a few days now so the pain in his wounds began to return. There was a particularly deep slash at his ribs that stung anytime he got up. At the sound of the doorbell, Roy sat up a little too quickly and felt a sharp tingle in his side. “Yeah, I’m coming.” He groaned out, holding his stomach and walking slowly to the door. When he finally got to opening it, Roy closed it immediately to think for a moment before opening it again to peek through the small crack. “Did Ollie send you?”

hal has been there for a few hours already and it was still surprising that carol didn’t notice. he was laying on the couch, replying to the text they were sending each others back and forth. as he heard her voice though, something he haven’t heard in months, the man took a few steps towards the bathroom. chuckles were escaping him as he opened his door. “do you really want me to make food? i don’t think it’s a good idea... maybe we should just order something? if you’re okay with me staying here, i mean.” he looked at the woman he still loved with all his heart, helping her up. “you’re wearing boxer now?” he asked with an eyebrow raised, a bit surprised. sure, he would have notice this straight away.

carol already knew that hal was in her apartment as she laid on her bathroom floor, clad in only her bra and a pair of boxers, not considering the fact that she never owned a pair of boxers before stealing a pair of kyle’s while they were together. she stayed in her position as she waited for him to help her off the floor and to the couch, “hal, help me. i need my couch and maybe some food too if you want to make some.”

Hal was finally back after a few months doing his job in space and sure he heard about what happened with the aliens invasion and no matter how much he wanted to give an helping hand... He couldn't. So once it was over well, he came back wishing that his friends were safe. He was glad that Barry let him stay with him but he didn't want to abuse of his hospitality so he decided he would go to the grocery store, buy some things to make dinner but as he was walking in an alley, he couldn't help but stare at the man who he sure recognized. "Shaved...?" He said, doubtfully. "I'm sorry to tell you this but if that's how you look while being shaved, I don't want to see what you look like when you don't."

Dick hadn’t left his home SINCE the Dominators’ attack, but today he had managed to get out of bed and throw on some clothes. The FIRST thing he noticed was that the fridge was depleted, so reluctantly he had LEFT the house and made his way to the nearest convenience store. After ten minutes or so, he noticed he was being LOOKED at. “What? I shaved.”

Hal chuckled as he was shove inside by his best friend. Once he was all set in the living room, all he had to do was wait and... As always, he arrived quickly not even a minute after he left the front door. "Thank you, Bar." He said, the instant he received the box in his open hand and without waiting any longer (can't blame him because he was starving), he started eating... an appreciative moan escaping him as he chew on his food. God, he missed those flavors. "What about THE LORD OF THE RING, the third one though. It's my favorite and... I'm not leaving you any choices anyway since you'll probably end up falling asleep on me." He knew him so well.

Hal missed earth everytime he would leave for a long period of time. He wanted to come back sooner but with the aliens invasion, the male had been ordered not to interfere since you know, he is GREEN LANTERN and his mission is to help and save the aliens. He wouldn't have been able to do his job properly so he stayed on the fence while hoping that his friends would be able to... Get out of this mess alive.

He was glad that Barry let him stay at his for the time being even if he was really thinking about buying himself an apartment soon enough. Hal was walking around in town, trying to find the perfect restaurant for a late breakfast (something he didn't have the chance to do in ages) when he overheard a discussion on the phone. Curiously, he walked over them and that's when the collision happened. He didn't have time to react, the brunette was already on the ground. oups. "It's alright." The man laughed, handing her his hand so he could help her back up on her feet. "Sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going. I hope I didn't hurt you."

Darcy was walking with her phone held away from her ear and a bored expression on her face. Her mother had been ranting at her for the past fifteen minutes after finding out she’d been fighting the aliens and frankly she’d given up listening. She yawned and mumbled the odd, “I understand… I’m sorry… Won’t do it again…” Frankly she was more worried about making it up to Jane, she’d stolen all her inventions to use in the battle.@

“Mom, look. I appreciate you worried but I’m fine. Yes, all fine.” Thank God she was winding down. “Uh huh, right… No Ma! I don’t want to be set up! I don’t wanna settle down!” She rounded a corner, “MA! I’d rather sleep with the next guy I meet then Larry from you local Walmart! Oft-” she rounded right into a walking body and stumbled, ass on the floor. She looked up, a guy… whoops. “Gotta go Ma, just found a guy.” She hung up, “Sorry about that Dude, Mother issues… Helps girl up?” she asked, reaching up with hand.
