So he throws something vicious in Aldo’s face during a fight and Aldo actually takes it hard which makes Tedesco realize that he fucked up.

Something, something, a new Italian cardinal coming onto the scene and taking a big interest in Aldo. This cardinal is confident and young. Everytime he’s in the same room as Aldo, he tries to goad the man into arguments. Of course, Aldo’s just confused but Tedesco is livid. Every other Italian cardinal knows that Aldo is off limits. He belongs the Patriarch. So in a private moment (Vincent, Thomas, and Aldo is there to witness but to Tedesco, they don’t really count), he physically and mentally puts the cardinal in his place. Its a sight to behold really and opens somebody’s eyes to the whole situation.
