for  a  moment,  jason's  left  rooted  to  his  spot  in  the  doorway,  stunned  with  disbelief.  he'd  nearly  missed  the  incessant  knocking  at  his  door  due  to  the  headphones  over  his  ears,  and  when  he'd  opened  the  door,  rachel  amber  had  made  her  way  right  in.  they  certainly  weren't  strangers,  but  they  definitely  weren't  late-night-dorm-visits  close.  that  alone  is  enough  to  already  put  him  on  edge,  and  rachel's  next  words  certainly  didn't  help  ease  the  mounting  concern.
