The newly engaged Florence Clermont poses with her sister, father, and fiancé. One a prominent family in society, the last decade has shown the Clermont family hard times.
After Elizabeth and Florence’s mother passed, William gambled away the family fortune, leaving them with close to nothing. As they fell into financial ruin, the family was forced to let go of their staff and sell many of their possessions. As it got harder and harder to hold onto their family home, it was up to Florence to support the family.
Fortunately, she secured a match with Louis, a well-off business man. With winter ending, their wedding is just around the corner, promising new beginnings for the Clermont family. Hopefully, things will finally start looking up.
